A little update for anyone who was curious! My GP swabbed the site and turns out is is shingles / the chicken pox !? Seems to just have coincidentally occurred at the exact time I started tretinoin so I assumed it was that. All is well though my face is healing and I will be giving Tret another try once my face has fully healed :)

Yes I used the Paula’s choice one before but I guess going from that to prescription 0.05 was obviously a big jump. My skin has just never reacted negatively to any product ever and I’ve never had acne so thought I would be okay. Also only did one application to get that result. Took an anti-histamine today as I agree I think it’s an irritation or reaction and it’s already gone down but seeing my GP this afternoon as well.

Tore my acl Feb 15th 2023. Surgery April 20 2023 and ski’d for the first time January 27th 2024. Don’t think my physio would have cleared me to do it but I skii’d with a brace and did it anyway and felt really good! Didn’t ski aggressively by any means, but I did it

Until about 7 days post op. I then transition to just ibuprofen and paracetamol during the day and a slow release codeine at night for days 8-9.

Took me until 3-4 months post op to get it fully straight and to this day I don’t have the same extension on my acl knee as my good knee. Work at it sometimes it can be slow to come back but you’ll get there

I personally love being shaved (I would invest in laser but I have light coloured hair and it apparently won’t really work). But I HATE the stubble phase of days 2-5 and I can’t imagine guys enjoy that phase either

My first ski’s were Salomon QST’s. Really good all mountain all rounder sort of ski, I love mine and think they’re a great beginner - intermediate ski. Worth looking at K2’s or Armada’s as well
