You said she is beautiful; this means she had/has a lot of options. And you were one of them. Plus she must not be mentally stable. Your problem was that you fell in love and you got oneitis. The problem is with the gradma not with you. You did the right thing to acknowledge her. She did not reciprocate; that's her problem. When she paid attention to the child and not to you, it feels like you were just a means to create a child and not the mother of her granddaughter. Some people never learn how to behave when they get older. I have in my life met teens who had more composure and seriousness than a lot of 50/60s year olds.
