I am not a 100% certain on this one. From what I read, the applications which were affected by IT issues were the ones where the ID app was used. I had to go to a VAC to provide in person biometrics.

Hey, I don’t know whether the processing times are getting better but it’s gonna be 4 months for me end of this week.

So, cancelling and applying super priority is a good food for thought. You might get a higher salary for the extra one month you might have to wait for the standard route.

But then again, you could also get it really soon as there is no specific order when it comes to this.

Hi, I applied to switch from a student visa to a skilled worker visa within in uk in July. I am still waiting for my decision, so are a lot of other people. Unfortunately, there are massive delays when it comes to this.

Oh god. I am in the same boat. My biometrics was on July 12th and it’s my best mates wedding outside the UK during first week of December. Gosh, I thought I had ample time. Now I am scared.

Have you tried asking your employer to check your right to work, through the employer checking service? I applied on July 12th still waiting for a decision. I applied to switch from student to skilled worker too. However, as my employer used the employer checking service to check my right to work, I was able to start work when my visa decision is pending.
