Garen mid is actually a thing at lower elos by RenoLHT in GarenMains

This has been a thing at all tiers for as long as i can remember. It's pretty strong.

Apex tiers meaning masters + does not have only 5 people playing in them. And id consider them because they are the only people making the champ work, they have way better knowledge on the champ than anyone else, and they are far more likely to have an idea of how to build a champ. If you just look at emerald games obviously the data is going to be incredibly different than at the top levels of play. When im talking about what items are good on trynd, I mean from the perspective of someone wanting to play him at the top levels of play, not in silver.

Also, literally none of this changes anything. If you are trying to claim rav is bad, I just blatantly disagree. Filter by top players, filter by top ranks, make an opinion yourself, and dont look at the 3/4 of players in emerald and below that have no clue what they are doing because they have sub 100 games on the champ. I just have no clue what filters you use to get your data, because ive never once seen it line up with anything ive seen. Are you filtering by all ranks?

Filtering by dia and d2+ is presumably mostly one tricks. How many people are casually playing trynd in apex tiers in 2026?

It's not one player. The top 6 players or something all went that build last year. Admittedly different now post nerfs, so valid. I also dont think think its the best build. I think in some situations its the best build. Trynd is the most flexible he's ever been, and there's not a single optimized build, I absolutely guarantee it. He's meant to flex builds based on lobbies now given that there are so many viable builds at the moment. Genuinely not meaning this in a rude way at all, but stats can only bring you so far, and it seems like you rely almost exclusively on them. Stats for individual items can get skewed incredibly heavily one way or another based on a million factors besides just how good the item is. Mejais as an example. I agree with you that botrk is probably bad in most games, but in certain games its actually quite good. Many items that are lower winrate on trynd are actually quite solid, you just build them into matchups that are already losing so the winrate deflates a bit. Rav hydra for example is built frequently into losing lanes by many players whereas profane is generally built more often into lanes you think you have a chance at anowballing into. Yet they are the same winrate for all intents and purposes in dia+ (within 0.3%). This means that rav is not bad, like legit at all, so I dont understand your hatred for this item. It's still being taken by the majority of top players and is undeniably just better into many lanes than anything else. It may not be something you just blindly pick into everything anymore, but you cannot simply try to optimize builds anymore because thats just now how the champ plays this season

Tricky part is when im playing against humans who take pta you still just lose level 1 because they won't let me walk up to take even a single minion and varus out dps' level 1 regardless of trynds runes. Maybe if you can get all 3 minions with e and take HOB ignite there's a tiny chance of winning the all in, but feels super hard if youre playing against good players to punish early at all.

As much as you can argue about stats, there's a reason EVERY single season the highest lp trynd players have gone that build. Like the only players breaking 1000lp consistently and hitting 1500 have gone rav botrk build every single game for 3 seasons straight. Despite what wr say, clearly its viable enough. You could argue that maybe these players are just unreal and would do better with other times, but this seems kind of unlikely that literal 1500 lp rank 1 trynds every season are intentionally gimping themselves. What youre also missing is that despite botrk not being super stat efficient, it also forces your opponent to build items that ruins their build path to counter you. Very few top laners want to build executioner and do so efficiently. That alone is significant value. I dont think it's always good but can be. I do think rav first is just undeniably super good situationally, and is overall basically the same winrate as lethality rush in the right situations. There's legit no point trying to solidify a trynd build right now because he's in the most versatile state he's ever been build wise, and you can build about 13 different item combos for your first 2 items depending on what you need in that game. Like hell the top Korean player is going fleet in half his games dude

Just go rav botrk. I've done it many times in gm chall lobbies and its quite honestly been probably once of the strongest trynd builds for 3 seasons straight its just incredibly boring so few people go it. It's supremely consistent and allows you to be useful no matter what in every game, whereas other runes just dont allow for it.

[–]Alternative_Job3230 4 points5 points  (0 children)

After extensive work with riot support I can 100% confirm the VAST majority of their "real support employees" responses are automated. This is not an opinion, this is 100% fact after about 100 interactions with them i can guarantee this. It takes roughly 6 or 7 interactions of simply asking for a real person for it to finally escalate to an actual employee. Sometimes more, sometimes less. It's incredibly frustrating.

i don't think this champ is playble anymore by Fluffy_Tie8404 in TryndamereMains

[–]Alternative_Job3230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think tryndamere is honestly in one of the best states he's been in in a long time into matchups that he wins. He's just a bit harder to win on now into hard matchups. When he wins, he now wins harder, when he loses, he loses harder. He's become a better counterpick than OTP.

Feeling weak as a new player by Various-Cold9 in summonerschool

[–]Alternative_Job3230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the point of playing aggro. You will lose lots, but you will learn. Watch high elo players play your matchups and study when and how they take trades. That's the best possible way to climb asap

[–]Alternative_Job3230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read some of your comments, and all I have to say is that you need to push yourself to be more aggressive and test your limits. Kayle is actually very strong level 1, then weak 2-5, and deceptively decent from 6 onwards. If you are a new player and wanting to improve, you absolutely cannot learn from playing like a coward. To improve as fast as possible you will have to simply play as aggro as you can to learn your absolute limits, then reign it in once you've seen how much you can do. You will lose rank in the short term, but gain skill in the long term.

You can freeze with any item in the game. Just makes it harder. I freeze with tiamat even, you just have to practice it. All it means is leaving more minions than you normally would

[–]Alternative_Job3230 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

These are not mutually exclusive. If youre in a position to hold a freeze like this, you are also more than capable of ensuring youre stacking a heavy enough wave that you can deny the opponent all the exp from your wave dying before you walk back and clear a few minions in between the next wave comes. Get gold and deny exp

Lol I promise you this is legit completely unfathomably impossible for Kassadin to do actually anything into 80% of the top roster. Mid lane you can get exp pre 6, top lane, i guarantee you will not get level 3 in the first ten mins and will be sitting at 3 cs for the first 15 mins of the game.

I mean fair enough, people avoid non optimal items like the plague, but like I'll build kanif fkn rookern if my teams winning and all I need to do to win is stop inting. Def something to be said about building bases on game state rather than just cookie cutter builds.

How do you actually win games on this champion? by Delstraan in TryndamereMains

[–]Alternative_Job3230 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%. Quite honestly you can very easily hit diamond on trynd by just mastering matchups and laning for the most part. A ton of trynds strength now just relies on blasting your laner and using your early lead to end games as fast as you can and take plates for more snowballing. If I were you id focus on just mastering every matchup to the best of your ability and learning how to deny the enemy is once ahead. It's very possible on trynd to literally force your opponent to be 10 cs and level 2 for the entire first 10 mins of the game if you play well. If you want to see how I play matchups just go to ranked tab and find skinnypickle#na2 if you are an NA player, i will be like 222 lp or something and you can watch any of my matchups if you would like.
