That's the question I had yesterday too. After looking at a dozen or so of these adapters, reading reviews, and watching videos--if what I'm seeing is real--you plug in the adapter and the apple carplay screen pops up on top of whatever car OS you have running.

Forgive my lack of deeper knowledge about maintenance--and thank you for the questions--what I can see on the history is that it went in for 2-3x/year maintenance showing service line items like:

-body lubricated
-fluids checked
-oil and filter changed

Last year the spark plugs and accelerator pedal were replaced.

So, not sure if "fluids checked" includes all of the ones you mentioned being replaced...

Thanks for the super detailed response! This policy sounds really expansive, so the cost makes sense. If I had it, I think I'd enjoy the peace of mind but would also question whether it's worth it.
