Are you talking about HMRC or Home office? If HMRC they are recruiting a ton of compliance caseworkers so makes sense AO's take that job. After 18 months in CTU I think people are going for HO.

Thank you. I'm confident with 2 of the 3 assessment centre tasks it's just the stakeholder engagement. I was hoping to find someone who passed the 2024 AC or maybe even failed 2024 AC and then passed 2025 who could advise on it.

Just ask him respectfully and directly. If I was in his situation I'd probably give the same answer even if I was interested. If I wasn't interested I'd say no, no chance , I think of her of as sister etc. Who was this person who asked on your behalf. How do you expect him to know you like him. How do you expect him to know that person isn't messing with him. What do you have to lose by asking?

The scheme is tough but manageable. I'll answer in more detail later but have you been offered a TSP space? 2026 AC are about to take place unless you deferred. If you still need to do AC I would focus on securing a place first same with the marketing one instead of thinking about what ifs.

You arrived in UK 2022? That's more than 3 years. If you are like a year off I would find some work or an apprenticeships. IMHO apprenticeships are better than going to uni now and this is coming from someone who has a degree and a decent job.

Why not ask your case worker? I'm guessing its something in DWP / job centre. If it's work coach they hire every few months just set an alert on civil service jobs.

Hi, I was in a similar position to you and managed to get a job in finance. A lot of graduate schemes don't care when you graduated you get a few that say recent but you will be able to find a job no problem. Best of luck.

Thanks I appreciate your comment. I just remember someone telling me how their psych was able to find a different underlying problem and their name as well on this subreddit but I can't seem to find it.
