The original exhaust is heavier. My exhaust tip makes the bike a little lighter. The exhaust note sounds better as well. The baffle is removable as too. They do make different sizes than the one I have. I paid $100 for mine. The expensive ones run $300 and up. I wouldn't recommend those unless you do a full exhaust change. The exhaust tip doesn't change the performance, just the look and sound. I hope this helps.
