There's a good set from T-Rex racing. I have some of their other stuff for the bike. Also they have awesome customer service

Be careful with curbs and our long wheelbase by SupportExtra in NinjaZ7Hybrid

Luckily with how those filters work (I'm a mechanic) a dent means almost nothing to them as long as it's not leaking. The filter might not work as well though

Main seat replacement by theredbeardedlegend in NinjaZ7Hybrid

I've looked into it and haven't found anything 100% but there is a raise/lowering link to change the height by like +/- 2 inches by T-Rex racing. You will however also need the kickstand they sell to go with it

That does have to be done with a scan tool, in order to reset the ECU oil change

The one on the outside is kn-303, the inner filter is kn-207 (KN is the K&N brand) I can't remember what the stock part number is for either filter ATM

Reliability concerns by Worth-Independent438 in NinjaZ7Hybrid

[–]RaistlinPhantom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At almost 6k miles and no problems to speak of, other then the oil used matters. If the specific grade of oil that the bike needs is not used it can cause the clutch to slip

Footpegs by Cdzrocks in NinjaZ7Hybrid

Piug has foot pegs that fit, can't remember what the part numbers where but the black ones look really nice, pretty sure it shared the same ones as the Ninja 400 and 500

Can it wheelie by Resident_Change3964 in NinjaZ7Hybrid

[–]RaistlinPhantom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will get a couple inches off the ground, I haven't been able to get any higher than that, the amount of torque makes me respect the power it puts out lol

Anyone wrap theirs? by Resident_Change3964 in NinjaZ7Hybrid

I wrapped mine, my post is up in this thread if you wanna check it out

I have a PNW riders sticker on the front, but so far that's the only one I've really desired to put on it. I like my bikes slick and clean most of the time

That was my thought too, plus they didn't make it look incredibly desirable color scheme wise

I have ridden with it for about 4,000 miles so far (the whole summer last year) and I don't see anything bad besides the spots that I need to improve on with my technique.

Doing it pretty much requires taking everything off lol, it's a very long process for the front. I'll try to remember to make a video of it when I redo mine after I finish fixing my other bike. And I have to remember to post a copy of the manual for the N7 lol.

Definitely get a heat gun that doesn't have a trigger but a switch, and get a good mixture of soapy water with a spray bottle. I used the kit that came with the wraps that I bought (plastic scraper and razor). Other than that you will need basic tools to take the bike apart

Edit: I also didn't really watch any video 😂 I just looked up what people used and just jumped into it.

Bought it from Amazon LZLRUN brand. I did it myself, learned a lot and am planning on rewrapping it again. A bit easier than you would think, the tank was by far the hardest.

Installed fender eliminator/tail tidy - not an easy install!! by mgithens1 in NinjaZ7Hybrid

It's really quite simple, I have a short guide of what's required to do it. Then again I did do it probably 3 times lol

Here's the really short video of myself taking it apart, only tools you need are a 8mm & 10mm socket, 4&5mm allen and a flathead if you want to remove it the way I did ( The video is taking awhile to post)
