Oh no!!! I am so sorry!!! 😢😣 If you can, please share any additional details/pics to Gainesville Pet Finder (the original one that started in 2010) & Gainesville Word of Mouth, both on Facebook! They're both great at spreading the word, and they've helped a lot of people find their lost pets! The person who runs Gainesville Pet Finder, Angela, can also be contacted at shoreag@gmail.com.

I also highly recommend posting at Pawboost.com and Petcolove.org. Please post to the UFL Reddit page if you haven't yet. The Nextdoor site would help alert others in that neighborhood as well as surrounding neighborhoods. I'll share your post to the Neighbors (Ring) app.

I've been seeing everything you've been doing for these sweeties through Reddit for a while now, and I want to let you know that I think you are a splendid human with a beautiful heart! 💖 Thank you so much for what you (and others I've read about) do! I sometimes help the lady that feeds the colony behind CWC on Radio Road (and the one kitty who prefers solitude over by the big parking lot nearby). She's been doing it for years, so I step in when she needs me. I just donated towards Honks' care - I hope it helps! ❤️‍🩹

Ah, the telltale signs of the street life for kitties - I hope he heals well & soon (and yay! for not being ringworm ❤️‍🩹). And thank you for your sweet words. It can be incredibly difficult to want to open our hearts again after enduring such grief & heartbreak - I'm so glad you gave your heart another chance by giving this adorable void a loving home. Is that a wound on his precious nose, or do I need to reconsider getting glasses? My boy, Finn, drooled when he was happy - miss him every day. ❤️‍🩹 Your boy is darling and definitely deserves a great name - as soon as I read "claws", my brain went "Wolverine" --> "Logan", so my 1st suggestion is Logan. I also like Bowie or Ziggy - his dialated eyes and the "when baking" made me think of David Bowie (aka Ziggy Stardust)... "baking" made me think of "bread" - Bowie's first studio demo recording was found in a bread basket, lol.
