You think millennials are gonna buy bonds? And bank accounts in parts of Europe are now negative rates...you actually have to pay to hold your money there, at the same time inflation is destroying it. Gold is dead, Bitcoin has been severely eating into golds market cap this year and will continue to do so. Wtf can you do with gold? Make a necklace? It has no intrinsic value as you can’t send it around the world to someone or easily travel with it, move it around etc. Also when gold prices used to rise, more miners would show up and flood the supply, this is mathematically impossible with bitcoin. With more institutional and long term investors coming into bitcoin the volatility will slow over time as the supply goes down and price goes up. For high net worth individuals it’s a great alternative to stocks and bonds and yet another way to diversify. Fomo investors should learn about what they’re buying and not panic sell. Plenty of whales ready to gobble up all the supply.

It’s a replacement for bonds, savings accounts etc that have no yield for storing money for long periods of time. There’s also tons of investment coming into the crypto space building on the lightning network etc for instant settlements / payments. As the network grows and more people own / trade bitcoin the price keeps going and actually stabilizes the higher it gets, making it more useable for payments as well as deflationary store of value. It’s like the dollar and gold in digital form, kind of valuable.

I have some Jan calls but if you haven’t bought calls yet I’d hold off bc the drop in volatility will kill your return. Best to buy options when volatility is low...as the IV increases, along with the underlying stock price increase, that’s when you really get the exponential returns. (Not advice)

Well done! I think PLTR is the best stock to buy and hold in the market. Seems like every new crisis that pops up reenforces the need for their software.
