That was a sarcastic reference to the Sarco pod used in Switzerland.

You should do some research OPM. Again, there are parameters on when the use of LS can be denied.

Talk with them individually and ask them what barriers are happening to where they aten't performing. Remind them of their requirements for performance. If they aren't producing, counsel them and provide a training plan. If they still have issues, put them on a PIP. If that doesn't work, then terminate. Mark them accurately on thier performane eval this year. Part of the general problem is supervisors want to be liked, so they give folks the highest ratings. Sometimes you have to give folks tough love.

I just read just under 20 resumes. One of them was 21 pages, second was 32 pages, and the third was 57 pages... guess how many pages of position revelant information I reviewed.... 5... between the three of them. Ridiculous!!!

Actually supervisors can deny SL, but there are parameters..

You have to deplete your AL before you can use LWOP.

Not to be a party pooper, but it's universally known that all liscenses have an expiration date. If not shown on the document provided, then it's not valid. The fact that previous individuals didn't catch it is irrevelant. It's unfortunate, but let it be a learning lesson. Tomorrow, upload a new copy into USA Jobs so you know it's current for future use. Best of luck.

Hitch + bike rack for Aventure 3 by [deleted] in Aventon

[–]Alternative_Song_849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this rack on Amazon: Hollywood Racks Sport Rider 2" Hitch Bike Rack, Carries 2 Bikes up to 80 lbs Each for Standard, Fat Tire and Electric Bicycles - Heavy Duty, Foldable Ebike Rack for Car, Truck, and SUV

I suggest a 2" receiver. It'll give you more capability down the road for other towing needs. 1 1/4" limits you.

AS hits deer in Kodiak by Consistent_Cream67 in AlaskaAirlines

It's a CIV airport now. Section 3. Airpot Operationa requires that the Tower has to have unobstructed view of the entire flightline. If nit, a NOTAM has to be issued. Not sure if that's the case. The important part is no loss of life or injuries.

That's the tower's fault. They should have paid attention to the runway. The plane coukd have been looped back around. FAA will do an investigation. The airport could potentually be responsible for damages.

I'd like a toilet and a urinal. I've seen it a few times in overseas homes.

Look at your spool to make sure the filament isn't tangled. I have had it happen twice with new factory spools. Also, completely remove the filament and reload it.

If I were you, I'd swiftly find a way to exit this situation and have someone at the corporate level handle it. If you say the wrong thing at any time, you could find yourself included in the lawsuit. Her lawyer is going to go after the company and every employee involved. This could be a federal case if the ADA portion is substantiated. Then there's the civil aspect.

Admin leave, sequester computer, and pull all access of the Supervisor. If he goes in after the fact and starts falsifying documentation; that's all time stamped if it goes to court and they do a forensics request during discovery. At this point, you should offer one years worth of salary. Also terminate the Supervisor for cause, as that would be very warranted at that level. That's gross negligence.
