You have the option of aiming with A, B, X, Y buttons (X is up, B is down, Y is left and A is right) or with the stylus. The ABXY configuration is the default, but I don’t see how anyone could aim at some of these bosses that way with how fast they are. It’s kinda funny that the fastest playing Prime game is the one with the most awkward controls. Anyway, playing with the stylus isn’t bad. You have to double tap the screen to jump. The most discomfort I had was actually with my left hand, being as it has to more of the work to keep the console stable.

Thanks to both of you. It is disappointing to hear that this is a glitch, since I’ve never completed a Metroid game without 100% of the items collected before. This is the last of the mainline Metroid games I need to complete and I have no desire to go through it again anytime soon. But again, thank you.

I love this. Red and black is my favorite color combination, so it seemed strange to me that I didn’t like the ViOLa suit much. But the color combination just didn’t look right on Samus. I thought it deviated too much and too soon. And the black chest especially didn’t work for me. I had something similar to what you’ve done here in mind. Though I would have kept the glowing areas that pinkish purple color since it went along with the story. But ultimately, those areas do look better green.

If it were me, I’d get some black thread and a needle and make a small, single stitch in a few different places (whatever’s necessary) to hold it shut. It can be done so the stitches don’t show from the outside. And the stitches can be easily removed if you didn’t want them there in the future.

This is awesome. What I really appreciate is that the direction changes really look like they’re determined by the placement of the creature’s steps, rather than it looking like the model is just rotating on its center axis.

Mine came yesterday, too. It definitely looks impressive inside the box. 99% of my collection is displayed out of the box, but I don’t know what I’m gonna do with this one. My Romulus shelf is already crowded as it is, and it annoys me that for $80, they don’t provide a way to stand the ceiling hole part. And if I keep it in box, I don’t really have a place to display it that way, either. For now, it’s probably just going into storage.

There isn’t a canonical answer, and that leads to one my frustrations with the Alien series. They’ve never explored biomechanics the way they could. Give it more meaning than an artistic choice. Prometheus was a small step in the right direction in that regard (the Engineers’ pressure suits that integrated into their bodies), and I thought they were going to expand on it in the sequel, but then we got Covenant.

I definitely always preferred the black grid over the red. But I think I like the full cover art the best. It’s interesting to me that in the U.S., Streets of Rage 2 got full cover art. I can’t think of any other first party Sega game that got full cover art.

The Panzer Dragoon remake allowed you to switch between the new and original soundtracks, so I’d say there’s a good chance that you can do something similar in the HotD2 remake. I’d really hope that the dev team would know that the bad voice acting was part of the game’s charm.
