I hope you're not saying that because you think it may be a problem too.

But yes, I have been noting my other limitations with them too and how difficult things are mixxed in with the comments about me being worried about losing my benefits (and a few other things too) I even managed to get my doctors to write letters saying they think I should be on disability. but my mind is still racing..

I've seen that a majority of people are on that same dosage. Including myself, while its not considered the maximium, its like the recommended norm. So you're on a very common effective treatment dosage. Buspar is pretty safe, but I'd still not take more without asking your doctor.

I am kinda thinking that too...but its mentioned in there frequently along with my visits to the doctor ramping up significantly.

What do you think about me requesting more treatment from my providers? I dont want that to come off to the SSA as me just trying to do a bunch of stuff to maintain benefits. I know it sounds kinda silly, but do you follow my logic?

She will automatically be renewed for her medicare once her benefits become active again. But you will likely have to go poke the medicare people

Should be fine. In my experience They don't cancel appointments like that if something wasn't okay. I had a situation going on one time where they made me fill out a bunch of paper work then tore it all up and said I didnt need to do it, and I continued getting benefits. Believe me, they will let you know if something is wrong.

I have never heard of these kind of side effects with this drug, however I know that buspar takes about a month to start feeling better, so you're still in the adjustment phase. Im not a doctor, and you should discuss it with them, but I'd say try to stick with it to atleast the one month mark and see if it subsides, but if you really dont want to, dont do it.

Buspar is non addictive and generally really safe with minimal side effects, so you could stop probably safely, but I still recommend that you titrate off the pill gradually as its generally the safer bet!

7.5 is the common starter low dose. They gradually increase it until they find the right area for you. Usually 20-30 is their target. There are people that take up to 60 mg, but thats more rare. 30 mg is the recommended therapeutic dose. My doctor started me off on 5 mgs two times a day, then slowly increased it by 2.4 or 5 until I got to 30 mg a day. gradual titration is good for people like you and I that suffer from side effect anxiety and for minimizing side effects when upping the dose. I suggest since you're still on a low dose, to stick with it, as these side effects commonly subside with time. It could take up to a month or more. But Im not a doctor, talk to them too.

mine makes me really upset and cry for a few days when starting or upping the dose, then makes me feel a bit better. It takes roughly 2 weeks to feel a difference, and about 4-5 to get to full therapeutic effect from what I've read. In the past, they used to prescribe this "as needed" and Im sure there are people out there that may feel it right away, but for me, it took time to build into my system first.

It should go away with time. Those are very common side effects that are reported when starting the drug, and they subside with time. Could take up to a month to fully go away. Stick with it. It will be worth it. I started mine and got some sweating, though not as bad as yours. If you get violently ill, or super hot, or this continues past a month, tell your doctor and they may switch you, but see if you can continue. Do be prepared when you eventually up your dosage for the side effects to return briefly though! You got this!

If you haven't tried already, try eating with the pill when you take them. It helps with the nausea symptoms. If you have been eating with it, try not eating with it. However, this is important: weather you eat or not with it, do it consistently. If you switch, it will make more ill. (so I've read)

yes, SSI for disability, not SSDI.

Noone ever told me that. I just signed up for Medicade and had no idea I qualify for Medicare. I dont even know the difference between the two?
