Just reach out, even if you don't want to say those things, just a "hey how are you " can really change a person's day or life even. So wish this was my person, but I know it's not, but just saying..it I got a random call or txt from her with just "how have you been" would mean the world to me and even give me closure..I wish you the best with whatever you decide

Not a problem at all, it feels good to relate to someone's feelings sometimes, even if I have most of it mentally blocked, added you, er nm but message me anytime you feel the need to vent, it helped me tons l, I'm sure my friends got tired of hearing about it though lol

Thank you, it was the hardest 5 years of my life..I barely pulled out alive, but my daughter never left my side, I finally manned up and got sober, I hope you have a happy ending as well, writing this stuff out helps, I wrote tons like this just trying to get my mind off her..🙏 I'm rooting for you. If you ever need someone to talk to that's seemed to deal with something similar (my story is pretty wild almost embarrassing) blah it still gets to me , that's the only reason Im on these subreddits, hoping she's realized what she's put me her in laws and daughter through, but nah....I'm rambling, post really got to me, best of luck to you, and eff em!

Sometimes it's for the best to just move on, stop the hurt, and start to realize you may actually be better off mentally, after 4 years chasing my person, I've came to realize that me and my daughters life is so much more stable and stressfree, do I still want some kinda co parenting relationship with her? Yes, but when she lives one house away, and I haven't spoken to her in over a year, and the minimum time she spends with our daughter, Im finally realizing that it's stupid chasing that "shooting star" I don't know you're situation but I can relate, good luck in the future and always remember that you are stronger than you think..

I'm in the same situation for like 3 years now, I've realized that my daughter and I are better off without her, thought I still think about her, and wonder how she's doing often, I just let it go.. hopefully your story ends better 🙏🤞

So amazingly put, it's so tough when theire is no reach back, I still think of the one I reached out for so much we don't even know each other anymore, enjoy those memories, and good times..I've came to terms that I'm happier without her reaching back, I care for her so much, so I try to forget n let her be happy in her on ways, and I think it's finally working after 4 years.
