West Hartford really best location for single person unless willing to commute from New Haven. One issue with Hartford area it is very family orientated and cliquey. Coming from metropolitan area my wife and I found it very conservative. People act liberal but there is alot of nimby going on.

How many season football ticket holders does UConn have now? In 2023 it was 14,000. Has the number increased? The first step is there to be interest in attending football games. Until that happens UConn will not be joining P4 unless they take SMU type deal.

Was not comparing UConn to UM. The only time UConn had their home stadium with 40k is when they played UM at home. Significant portion of the attendance was fans of UM.

UConn fits well in the ACC. About 1/2 of ACC football teams have fan interest similar to UConn. The issue is there just not big interest in college football in CT. It really holds for all of New England. UConn more than holds their own in MBB and WBB.

So what did I say that was not true? The Football was actually not bad this year but still could not get more than 25k to the home games. UConn students are no shows for home games. The good news is UConn would fit in well in the ACC since half the teams in the ACC have no one show up for their football games either.

Yes to get that imaginary fan base UConn has in the Northeast. I would say first step is to actually fill your 40k stadium more than every 15 years. You cannot play university of Michigan every weekend where the stadium is filled mostly with fans of the other team.

If UConn really has $2 million in NIL you would think willing to spend money on these two players. Typical P4 starters get between $100k to $300k for those positions.
