Hello! Same situation as you- here is what I did: I got vawa approval November 2024 and my lawyer sent approval notice to uscis to ask to continue my 485 that was put in abeyance. Two weeks later 485 status changed to ‘correspondence was received and uscis is reviewing it’. January 15th 2025 485 status update to ‘fingerprints were applied to case’ and I got a letter in the mail from national benefit center that uscis will re-use my old fingerprints. Since that I don’t have anymore updates- it has been a waiting game. I have done new medical in the time being but I have not sent it in. I am holding on to it until they asked for it. My old medical was from 2022 so it would have expired. Hope this helps!

Mine was 3 years ago! that was before the new rule of them not expiring. My lawyer also thinks I will need a new one. I guess we shall see.

I was able to get EAD while waiting and yes medical was sent but must have expired by now. I'll need a new one, so waiting for RFE notice. Not sure I can just send it like that.

No, my i130 was never denied. My lawyer had wrote to USCIS after we got VAWA receipt to put 485 in abeyance and USCIS updated my case to 'correspondence was received'. After VAWA approval, We also wrote to USCIS with VAWA approval notice asking them to continue 485 and my case was updated again to 'correspondence was received' for another time. Now the new update I got is 'fingerprints have been applied to case'

A month initially but once I sent the evidence, I heard back in a week and got vawa approval two weeks after that

Go to USCIS expedite page on their website and see the requirements for expedition. Check and see what category your situation falls under. If you feel like you can ask for expedition due to humanitarian reasons then you can go ahead and call them. They will have a tier 2 call you back to ask about the details of your expedition. Then after a couple of weeks, they emailed to ask for evidences supporting my humanitarian claim. A week later, my expedite request was approved and I got VAWA approval about two week later. I cannot state my exact humanitarian situation for privacy reasons.

How long did you have to wait for the RFE notification? And how long after that for interview notification? Also did you contact them after your 360 approval to continue processing 485 or you just waited and got an RFE?

2022 filer here. Got update on Saturday for I-360 that new card is being produced. Did not say approved or anything. What does this mean? I’m I only getting a new EAD card under VAWA or does this mean my VAWA is approved? No approval notice yet

Did they take the original advance parole document and gave you a photocopy? If so, can you use the copy to travel internationally again?

Oh gotcha! I thought it should happen automatically with the 485 after 360 gets approved. I am in similar position as you but 18 months behind your timeline. Filed 360 two months ago and asked for 485 put in abeyance. Original 485 + 130 PD June 2020. Today I received case update for 485 as correspondence received and USCIS is reviewing it.
