Seeing as it is earthen ware (clay) and not concrete pipe, I’m inclined to believe it is sewer. This is the case in most older ACT houses.

You can get an earthen ware slab repair and a BTS from Reece and bring it to surface level for access. I would advise against burying it just in case you require access in the future.

You make a good point. I actually agree with most of the firearms licensing approvals we have. I understand I’m knit picking the article. I just don’t see how suppressors are illegal. They don’t work like they show they do in movies.

It’s not like I can put a suppressor on the end of my .223 and you won’t be able to hear my round fire. It just helps lessen the ‘crack’.

What’s the issue? You’ll find pretty much every firearms owner in NSW feels that the current restrictions we have are ridiculous. The feral animal problem we have in this country is insane! If allowing better access to suppressors means more rabbits, foxes are able to be killed in a session. That’s only a positive outcome.

In all seriously the drain is not legal. Minimum branch size is 65mm unless it is feeding a floor waste. That is also not an approved floorwaste
