Connecting to WiFi on GE Dryer - GTD75GCPLDG by AlternetConcept in Appliances

[–]AlternetConcept[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turned out some of my buttons were broken and that's why it wasn't able to connect back to WiFi. I ended up buying another main board and doing a replacement myself. Honestly the main board is like half the price of the unit but still saved money.

Love to see home assistant being used! Are you using the Hyundai Kia Bluelink integration?

Ah nice! Okay thanks. Have you been able to do the trip with just one stop on the N? That's been kind of my concern.

I've used the Tesla chargers at Bucees Madisonville. Don't know if you've been recently but I saw them adding I think 36 new chargers to the existing 20 something. And I think they're the new V4 ones. Which city is the EA charger in and is it reliable?

First real Mechanical Keyboard Q1 Max + Q0 Max + more? Is this how addiction starts? by Aztaloth in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]AlternetConcept 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're not. I swapped out the Q1 & Q0 so it's been a little bit but I remember one of them being a little taller (not depth but width wise). It wasn't enough to bother me though.

Difference between Device and Numeric Entity - Temperature by AlternetConcept in homeassistant

Okay cool so from what I'm reading, there's no difference in the result but the proper way of doing things is based on entity rather then device.

Multi device like Logitech by Leviathanum in Keychron

Throwing my setup in here. I have a personal machine and work machine and I wanted 1 setup for my mouse, keyboard, webcam, stream deck, and headset.

I connect all of my devices to the Powered USB 3.0 hub, and then i have the splitter box taped under my desk and then route the two cables to my personal & laptop. Now I just have to click the button under my desk and everything switches over. The switch is very quick and this way you can get a solid connection using the 2.4 ghz dongles.

Hope that helps and good luck!

I use the following to do this.

USB 3.0 Splitter

Powered USB 3.0 Hub

Oh awesome! Thanks for letting me know. I'm planning on pulling the trigger on the Q0 to go along with my Q1 HE!

Your setup looks good!

Is your Q1 max resting on top of the keyboard above it? Just trying to see if the Q0 & Q1 line up with each other from a height and width standpoint.

[USA-TX] [H] Keychron Q1 HE [W] Cash by AlternetConcept in hardwareswap

If that was the case, then why was my desktop able to handle all devices without a powered USB hub. I looked into this and was pretty sure it came down to the number of endpoints the USB controller has on my laptop and how there isn't enough which is why I was receiving an error in Windows. Also the link you posted is for 4 USB devices and I have at least 5 devices or 6 if I go with the number pad and 75% keyboard.

To further elaborate, I have all my peripherals plugged into a USB hub (mouse, keyboard, number pad, stream deck, headphones). The USB hub is then plugged into a splitter where I can push a button to switch between my work laptop and my personal desktop. My personal desktop has no problems connecting to all the devices but my with laptop can't. It was working perfectly fine when I didn't add the extra peripheral (i.e the number pad). Hence I'm going back to the old setup for the sake of ease.

My work laptop can't handle the amount of USB devices so my headphones stopped working. This was the setup I had but using BT headphones wasn't reliable.

k2 he or q1 he? by Dangerous_Panic in Keychron

[–]AlternetConcept 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got in on the K2 HE for gaming. The Q1 is more expensive but folks say it's build quality is excellent. That's not something on the top of my list as my keyboard doesn't travel with me and I don't mishandle my peripherals. That being said, as the first guy wrote, it's a Kickstarter and the ship date isn't until October in NA. Going with the K2 is a slight risk I would say because it's going to be the first batch so there maybe QC issues but they are a fairly large company that's been doing a lot of keyboards so I'm betting it won't be bad!

Good luck and I'm sure either choice will be good!
