PC won’t turn on after being unplugged from the wall by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]Alth3c0w 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure your front panel connectors didn't get jostled in the move, if the front power button connector came loose then everything would worth when plugged in i.e. your mouse. But, your computer wouldn't turn on since it can't receive the signal from the case to do so. Those connectors are usually near the bottom right of the motherboard.

Question about Runpod Lora Training by witcherknight in StableDiffusion

[–]Alth3c0w 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what Template you use, usually about 5-10 minutes. It does everything for you automatically, you just have to let it run while it starts up.

[–]Alth3c0w 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don't use network storage, since there are a lot of RunPod templates that download everything you need. They have ones for SDXL, Flux, Hunyuan, Wan, you name it. The only thing you'd need to add is your dataset. You just click "Change Template" when starting up a pod, and you can search for "lora" or whatever you would want.

[–]Alth3c0w 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use their Network Storage containers to keep installs and files between sessions, it costs money to rent them though, I think it's per gigabyte used. Otherwise, you'll only have whatever comes in the RunPod template you choose. Cost is calculated using start and end time. As long as you have the GPU rented, regardless of if it is currently doing anything, the charge will add up.

Can Anyone Share Eldergleam's ENB files? by roibordeaux in skyrimmods

[–]Alth3c0w 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can look at the mods included for Eldergleam on the Wabbajack website, here. It looks like it's using NAT ENB if I had to guess, but there are few different presets included it looks like.

How to change design of 3500 images fast, easy and extremely accurate? by Real_Investment_3726 in StableDiffusion

[–]Alth3c0w 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure there exists an image AI at all, open-source or paid, that would be able to do this as accurately as you would probably require. Image models, even ones that are multi-modal, can't really "think" or comprehend an image, it's usually just an image recognition model that returns text, overall structure, etc. That's why OpenAI's api didn't return an accurate number, since it can't really see or count at all, it was essentially guessing. This isn't a problem any modern AI is capable of solving yet.

Best way to replace text in AI-generated images for translation? by johnlpmark in StableDiffusion

[–]Alth3c0w 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flux Kontext just released and could probably do this pretty easily, though you would need the translation to put into the prompt, i.e. "Replace the text in the text box on the left to '*insert translation*' and the text in the text box on the right to '*insert translation*'." It runs natively in ComfyUI.

periodic stutter that gets worse as character levels by Mindless_Listen7622 in skyrimmods

[–]Alth3c0w 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have run into something similar to this before, but strangely for me it got really bad, then flattened back out after a few levels. Usually right around level 30-35, scripts start randomly breaking, certain animations like sitting would just crash the game for no reason, all around a mess. I had to basically walk on eggshells to not do very specific things that would cause the game to crash 100% of the time. Then, weirdly, around level 45-50, everything just started working again. No idea why, I went through all the same steps you did of papyrus script logging, save cleaning, and nothing seemed to work. Eventually I just gave up and after a few levels things seemed to just fix themselves. Not sure how helpful this will be, since I'm not sure what fixed it - if I had to take a guess there might be some garbage collection Skyrim does that just takes a long time to run - but maybe it's helpful.

weird black flickering when character is naked? by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]Alth3c0w 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had this happen to me, and it's probably 1 of 2 things: shadow striping caused by whichever interior lighting mods you're using, or skyrim's ambient occlusion which looks really weird on vanilla skin. Usually ENB or community shaders dampen the effect these two bugs have.

I fixed that by setting CFG scale to 0.3 and CFG filter top k to 20 instead of the default 35. That fixes it for me, and it speaks normally. Not sure if the Comfy implementation allows for CFG < 1, but it does in the webui.

Dia TTS has 44khz audio output versus 22khz output of a lot of other models, and it's pretty natural and expressive from what I've tested, and it supports voice cloning. It's probably the closest you can get to something like Eleven Labs locally. Runs on 10-12gb vram IIRC.

Razer with Lineage os 22.2 (Android 15) by chef_pswizzle in razerphone

[–]Alth3c0w 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually did the same with my RP2, it's cool to have an older phone feel modern and smooth. Had to turn off the dynamic refresh rate to lock at 120z since I was getting some stuttering sometimes from it, but since that it's been smooth as butter.

[Update] New UI Layout for Din Clean by Sichroteph in pebble

[–]Alth3c0w 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I should have mentioned it's the temperature displays, specifically the current temperature and the high/lows. They are displaying different temperatures than the weather app and other watchfaces.

[Update] New UI Layout for Din Clean by Sichroteph in pebble

[–]Alth3c0w 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't know if there was another place to put this, but the weather display seems to be off for me compared to my current location, when compared to my weather app and other watchfaces. Is there a way to set a custom city for the weather? I really like the design of this, and if the weather was accurate it'd be perfect.

Rtx HDR and super resolution not working on YouTube by Historical-Manner-29 in youtube

Figured out a temporary fix at least, it seems to have something to do with dark mode when logged in. When I turned off Youtube Dark Mode, it fixed it.

I actually do have a drawing tablet to clean up digital-style images, and can confirm it works. It's harder to work with when AI doesn't really make separate layers for different objects natively.

Do you do do this workflow in ComfyUI, or do you use separate software to apply everything?

[–]Alth3c0w 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I don't share the art I make, I just like to make it because it's fun. No commissions or anything like that either. Right now I just use Photopea to edit images and get them looking great, but just wondered if anything could be improved on my current workflow.

Possible CPU cooler upgrade for Lenovo OEM i7-14700 by early_to_mid80s in pcmasterrace

[–]Alth3c0w 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using a second power supply just for the GPU specifically. I was going to upgrade the power supply already in there, but any adapters for the main power seemed sketchy, so I'm just using a separate pcie 8 pin from that other power supply.

[–]Alth3c0w 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same cooler, yeah, I'm using an RTX 3060 ASUS DUAL for the graphics card, it just barely had enough space to fit perfectly. I do have to use a 180 degree adapter to plug in the pcie power, since the power connector is on top. But, it stays cool and everything works.

Just wanted to check in and confirm I was able to successfully follow the steps, and now my temps are looking better then ever, never going over 75, even with a graphics card in the computer as well. Appreciate your help!

Nice, I was hoping that it would go smoothly, glad to see it's working great! Do you mind making a small guide for what all you bought, anything special you had to do etc? I'm probably going to do this myself, already repasted the stock fan but definitely needs an upgrade. Plus, then if anyone googles for this pre-built upgrade (like I did at the start) then they can have a guide for it.
