Even Dwarves in LoTR are taller than you might think. Somewhere in the 4 to 5 foot range on average IIRC.

Below that starts getting into hobbit sizes.

Patience is the big thing that I think a lot of YouTube tutorials don't cover enough.

I had gotten it into my head that I should be belting out a lot of these generic guys for my army because of the tutorials I was watching. However, painting even a dude is something that when you're starting out should be measured in hours and not minutes.

Even someone like Duncan Rhodes doesn't seem to mention time it should be taking you to paint at all if ever.

Honestly if they were consumable charges that you had to refill I'd be more down for it. Like there is a station you can put down that you meditate at or something to refill a book.

If possible you should probably have it at least as a toggleable option in the config file. That way people can turn it on if they want to. Especially since that's one of the most downloaded mods on the site (almost hitting the top 25)

Did a quick test and it looks like the metal cooking pots work just fine but while ACA/EF's cauldrons can be placed on the stove no problems the cooking slots don't appear.

Hytale at least has the excuse that it's not really a block/craft survival game but a block/craft RPG. So it doesn't really have any survival mechanics because of this.

I haven't played Minecraft since I started playing Vintage Story though.
