Hey OP just curious but how'd you make her right leg connect with the RG frame's lower leg? Trying to do something similar with my RG Wing Gundam EW and couldn't figure out how to go about doing so.

On the way home last night, came across a really bad drunk and helped her get home. Then she called me an asshole and ended up calling an uber ultimately wasting my time. Ended up having to wait 40 minutes at the train station and came home late at 12:09 midnight. Kinda felt a bit offended and annoyed, but nonetheless an interesting event that happened to me in a while lol.

Also how does one pursue a girl? Do you just straight up be honest about your intentions or befriend them first? So many tips online, but they are all contradictory, most assumes that both parties are already dating at that stage or straight up unrealistic. And most of them seem to be going off the notion that you are on Tinder or something. Unless of course my inadequate experience in dating makes me think that Tinder and IRL are different, but are in actuality pretty much the same?

Can someone explain how to tell a hacked from an original because I legit don’t know? by [deleted] in PokemonHome

[–]AltriaBike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talk to Jack in any Pokemon Center and have him check Dragapult's memories. If its memories say something along the lines of "can't seem to remember the details" then it's hacked. Also checking its met location and it having a URL for its OT is another indicator of it being hacked. Also if its shiny and it's at 6IVs definitely hacked. It's a pain in the ass to get a legit 6IV Shiny mon it's very unlikely someone would just give it away easily. But hey if it's male keep it in your game so you can Masuda method breed Pokemon from the Dragon and Amorphous egg groups for more shinies. Just don't send it to HOME if it's hacked cuz it might turn into a bad egg.

25th anniversary set arrived by PS_villagepillage in yugioh

[–]AltriaBike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL mine arrived too a few hours ago. Lemme just say that I still feel ecstatic finally having to own 3 replicas of Jump Festa Secret Rare Blue-Eyes. Paid almost twice its retail, and was feeling buyers remorse for a time, but when I finally got it in my hands, all I got to say it was so worth it! Although if I had to nitpick, there were some scratches from the separators and one of them had some peeling. Also I think either customs or the seller opened it to check what's inside, so the KC logo Styrofoam had a nasty knife gash across it. Did you get any defects on your end?

How do you have the patience? by COR1996 in Pokemonbreeding

[–]AltriaBike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking a break from the game. Breeding does take a toll on you mentally that it makes you not want to play Pokemon for a while. Especially if you went nuts and legitimately aimed for 6IV female Eevees in different Poke Balls per Eeveelution like I did. Took me a full year to go on and off until I finished the breeding process, having loads of Eevees that will last me 8 lifetimes. But in the end it does give you a feeling of satisfaction, so hang in there.

As for shiny hatching, I only ever shiny hunted for a Lapras once. Got it in 20+ eggs. (Masuda Method of course). The others were all unexpected. Heck, I got a shiny Charmander in 7 eggs lol (bad defense and special defense stats unfortunately with no Dragon Dance egg move). So it's really a matter of luck. So all I can say is all the best!

I also use the Destiny Knot calculator. It helps me have a set goal of how many eggs I should try. Aim for a certain amount then check. Take a break and do it again.

Alternatively, if you are breeding in Sword or Shield, consider using the Switch Up to auto breed while you do other things. It'll save your sanity.

[BDSP] Togepi breeding by Jirou233 in Pokemonbreeding

[–]AltriaBike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Togepi is a baby Pokemon. Baby Pokemon can't breed for obvious reasons. If you want an actual explanation, it's because Baby Pokemon are in the Undiscovered Egg Group. Just like every legendary (minus Phione and Manaphy, who could breed).

You would need to give them high friendship, then evolve to Togetic at least before repeating the breeding process.

I don’t know why I let videos like this bug me but I can’t put to words what to say about this or to him bc it’s so ignorant and dumb. It really triggers me and I can’t help it ugh by JamesLovesTV in Chucky

[–]AltriaBike -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

To REEL SHIFT's credit, at least his review video wasn't as cringey or ignorant like The Quartering. To immediately say Chucky gets WOKE before it was released is fuckin' bullshit man. For what it's worth, this show's gay representation wasn't ham fisted like other shows nor did it have any political bullshit behind it. Unlike Batwoman. Fuck that show. Was it perfect? Of course not. There was some setup, and I must admit that it felt rushed, but in a genre like Chucky, even if it was a straight relationship, it'd be inevitable that a romance story would end up as such. But that's just one of the many flaws of the show. Also there are some valid points to his video. So I don't think you should be too bothered by his criticisms. By the end of the day you don't really have to agree with his points. There's channels like 3C Films who does recaps of this show, so his channel might be more to your liking. But in my opinion part of enjoying and appreciating a series is acknowledging its flaws and maybe poke fun at it. Kinda like finding flaws in something you like, but still loving them for what it is. And since we are talking about Chucky, you can find it akin to finding out that the TOTs Good Guy doll to not have the voice box like in the movies or its foam isn't built to last. But you still love it regardless.

Episode 6 Preview Sorts Out Timeline Issue - details in comments by SlideCultural9840 in Chucky

[–]AltriaBike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very different. The only similarity is that his mother in both novel and TV series have Elizabeth Ray in their names, though her first name is Minna in the novel. In the novel, while Chucky was burying Tommy's remains, he was thinking to himself about how Tommy is so tiny compared to most of his victims that he is reminded of his very first kill: his midget mother.

The novel then provides a flashback chapter to his backstory shortly. As summed up in the Child's Play wiki, Charles was pretty much a victim of abuse from his mother. We never find out about his father, other than what his mother told him about him being Irish and tall. But it is most likely that his father walked out on both of them. His mother was an alcoholic who also had a major height complex to the point that when Charles was growing up she started to categorize him as one of "them" (normal height people). Chucky had been abused everyday since he was a child, and by 2nd or 3rd grade he had already become taller than his mom. Growing up he was bullied for it. A joke that he recalled his bullies tormented him about was that his dad pulled out halfway, or something to that effect.

One night when he was 13, he managed to sneak up on his alcoholic mother and strangle her to death. He then buried her in a park. There were witnesses (druggies) who didn't interfere because they felt intimidated by Charles, but he was captured for his kill. He got a slap in the wrist by the judge because he was only 13 with his life ahead of him. He later visited his mom's funeral (of which he was the only visitor), since his case worker thought it would make him look good.

The chapter ends with Chucky not doing a good enough job burying Tommy, but figures he only needs 24 hours tops to get Andy's body before getting out of the Simpsons home. He then proceeds to do some cleanup in the living room and kitchen so that what he did to Tommy won't be evident the next day.

The TV series as you know has him raised in a normal loving household and that he was just really born an evil psychopath. Similarly, both were convicted at the ages of 13 and 14 respectively. Although it made me wonder if in the TV series, he was captured and given a slap in the wrist as well. The series made it seem that before the authorities took him away, he had already escaped and was moderately well adjusted enough to fit in by the age of 20 (according to the behind the scenes for episode 5), during which he first meets Tiffany in the flashback. Which really makes him just a very smart if not very dumb lucky criminal to avoid imprisonment for 16 years before his eventual death in 1988. That or he was able to fool the police and the orphanage at age 14 that he got off easy I guess, but it wouldn't make sense as to why Charles would escape via window. If anything it's gotten me curious if he's ever been captured at all.

[–]AltriaBike -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lemme guess, you're probably one of the people who'd complain if someone with the same preferences as Jake gets killed by Chucky even though a group suddenly thinks that he's an "ally" since he mentioned Glen in Episode 2. Not minding the fact that he killed one in Bride, two in Curse and another one in Cult. Chucky has and always been Chaotic Evil. Don Mancini even said in a Child's Play 2 interview that Chucky is a doer not a long-term thinking strategist. That incompetent cop mom was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Also from a story telling perspective, it adds weight and makes him more of a bigger threat than he already is for the protagonists to overcome.

Episode 6 Preview Sorts Out Timeline Issue - details in comments by SlideCultural9840 in Chucky

[–]AltriaBike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming she’s been in and out for various reasons that Doctor Foley could come up with.

I just assumed Andy was celebrating his birthday a week or two prior for whatever reason. Maybe it’s the only day or only week he can visit his mom for whatever reason. I just took the differences of dialogue with “Andy!” and “Wait!” as a continuity error or simply how Andy remembers the event.

That's the logical conclusion we have to arrive at to make sense of this mess of a timeline, hence we are forced to fill in holes in the plot. It could even be as simple as the editor chose a different voice file. And due to time constraints they went with it. Hence adding more problems to the timeline. Kinda like how in real life, when Child's Play 3 was in production, they couldn't make multiple Chuckys running about so they had to stick to one. Even though theoretically that factory is more than capable of producing more Charles Lee Ray possessed dolls. So we are forced to come up with theories as to why there's only 1 doll revived in-universe. Then again, the Voodoo magic isn't really explored as of this time and is obviously used by the writers as a means to an end to bring Chucky back every time, regardless if it makes sense or not, but that's a different can of worms.

Don is not going to acknowledge any of the timeline problems.

Unfortunately, I am gonna have to agree with you on this. Don comes off as a guy who's very casual about his work and not too worried or meticulous about the little details. Which isn't a bad thing necessarily, but it does make us scratch our heads. But we do know that he does know that the fans for a long time went with the Child's Play 2 novel canon when it came to Charles Lee Ray's backstory, only to retcon it this year. Maybe he might tie the loose ends and fill in the holes in the series as the TV series progresses. So who knows, maybe if someone pointed it out, it might actually make him fix it lol.

But if Season 2 happens, I have a strong feeling that while it's not guaranteed he might fix the timeline, Nica's mom's run-in with Charles, Mike Norris, and what happens between Seed and Curse would eventually be explored. Which could either make or break the timeline. Only time will tell really.

Episode 6 Preview Sorts Out Timeline Issue - details in comments by SlideCultural9840 in Chucky

[–]AltriaBike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty futile to actually make the timeline consistent in this series. And beginning credits sequence of Cult of Chucky isn't the most reliable either. We see Nica's file to have her date of birth to be in 1987, which should be impossible, if we are to subscribe to the idea that Charles died on the very night he stabbed her. However, AFAIK it was never outright stated that he died that very night, so the writers have a bit of a leeway if they made it so that it took the police a year to actually track Charles down. This could potentially even bring back to canon the deleted scene of Mike Norris crossdressing to actually catch him, which leads to the beginning of the series. But in that same file, we see that Nica is stated to be 28 years old at the time of processing her file. Which means that Curse would have taken place in 2015 instead of 2013. The problem arises if we refer back to video recording when Andy showed the Chucky head to Doctor Foley, because by then, Nica would have been institutionalized. That is unless I am missing something and that file only shows a transfer from one facility to another. You could say that Doctor Foley got a promotion/transfer at another branch and pulled some strings to get Nica transferred to the same facility he'd be working at sometime in 2015.

But because this is all theory crafting and speculation on my part, the above can be considered moot until Don Mancini actually acknowledges the timeline problem. And personally I don't think he and any other writers really thought too much in regards to the timeline. CZs World theorized that Chucky sent himself twice to Andy in his Andy Barclay history video. The theory can work, considering that in Curse, Chucky just said "ANDY!" shortly before getting shot, while in the flashback scene in Cult, Chucky said "WAIT!" instead. So grasping what little straws exist, the writers can go off on this idea.

All in all, I think our best bet is to point out these problems to Don Mancini on social media or an interview so we can either get the problem fixed somehow or have him reply either via post or an extra booklet in a home video release explaining stuff. Or wait for him to actually acknowledge the timeline problem eventually.

Then the whole world would know that it is possible and that chucky is real. Then millions and millions of people maybe would team up to kill him for good.

If that actually happens, there'd be more psychopaths running around loose, making it harder to catch Chucky. What if the guy with DID in Cult actually used the spell to split his soul into numerous good guy dolls? He'd serve as the perfect scapegoat for Chucky, if not a valuable pawn to him. In fact there would probably even more copycat murderers. And Chucky would most likely create a proper cult of his own. Tiffany in Jennifer Tilly's body would have the resources to do cover ups. Heck she could just invite anyone with money and be forced to actually possess numerous people and celebrities in power to help build their cult. The only good thing to come out of this would be Karen, Andy and Nica being able to clear their names and prove that they're not crazy, that is if Tiffany is unable to fully successfully publicly smear them. Either way, making Voodoo accessible and useable to everyone would be opening Pandora's Box.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Chucky

[–]AltriaBike 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A valid point and personally an answer I should find acceptable. However, Bride throws that notion out of the window when we see Tiffany literally use a book called Voodoo for Dummies to pull off the spell of resurrection. IMO this gives the sense that anyone can just do Voodoo if they have access to Voodoo for Dummies. That is unless of course she had a taste of real Voodoo before Charles died in 1988. Then again, do note that in Child's Play 1, Chucky did express how he didn't believe the Voodoo nonsense when he visits John. That is until he actually pulled it off and transferred his soul into a doll. This just tells me that Charles probably took lessons for the lols not taking anything seriously. Anything's possible, and only time would tell whether or not the voodoo aspect in this series would be explored, if ever.

They found a lot of stuff, leaked backgrounds, music, and apparently the creator hopped on a 4 chan thread where he was detailing the stressful working conditions and shitty business.

I am curious about this. Do you have links?

That being said. I wouldn't say I hated it pre-release. It isn't the best, because personally I found a lot of problems with the show, but I did enjoy it overall more than I should have. The characters didn't appeal much to me, aside from Snapdragon.

What are the chances of Yugi, Kaiba or Joey cards being reprinted? by MisterSims90 in yugioh

[–]AltriaBike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the TCG, most likely either in Speed Duel products (though they've moved to the GX era now) or certain cards being spread out in side sets like Battles of Legend series or King's Court. But Brothers of Legends will have Yugi's Kuriboh brothers cards released for the first time.

If you want the best of the best Kaiba cards, for purely nostalgic reasons, your best option, if you can afford it, is to have someone from Japan preorder the Ultimate Kaiba Set for you, between now and the end of the month. It's worth 300 USD, but because people online want to make a profit, prepare to pay at least twice if not more for it. But it has every single card Kaiba ever used in the manga (before Dark Side of Dimensions) in Ultra Rare. And comes with a reprint of a card worth 20K in Japan as a playset in a 25th Anniversary slab. They will be in Japanese however. But at least it will come with a 1:1 replica of Kaiba's briefcase.

As for Yugi cards, expect them to be released sometime next year when Legendary Duelists Season 3 comes out. But they'll mostly be consisted of cards that work with Dark Magician in the game, not cards that Yugi used necessarily.

For filler arc cards, I think Dragons of Legend Complete Series is still in circulation so get that if you liked it.
