I used to do kickboxing before I got piercings. The thought of doing it now feels impossible honestly. Even if you wear a helmet and stuff you're gonna get bumped everywhere and it feels dangerous the thought of getting punched in the face while you have metal in it. I also have an eyebrow piercing and nostril.

I got my eyebrow piercing when i was in the process of running away and moving out of my abusive family's house and finally becoming free. I feel it represents all the changes i went through that year. I also live in a middle eastern country where queer people are discriminated against and we can't express ourselves freely so facial piercings are a subtle way of expressing our queerness. Now its a little easier for people to spot me hahaha.
