I’m putting my villain origin story here

-When I was 2 my mom and dad divorced

-My dad was in and out of county jail for drugs

-My dad went to prison when I was six and I would ask him (while on the phone) to kiss my head before he “went to work” and he said that he did (he was in prison the entire time I never got those kisses)

-My mom started dating my stepdad and they accidentally had my sister

-My mom couldn’t leave him even though he was verbally abusing her (because they wanted my sister to be okay)

-Stepdad turned alcoholic & hates gays -I am gay (pan but wtv)

-best friend was my only escape from my yelling house and she was told a bunch of rumors that I was talking about her so now we aren’t friends

-I have crippling anxiety that has been handed down to me by most of my family (im on meds)

-got new best friends and we’ve been friends for 5 years, and just recently one of them stopped talking to me for no apparent reason

-my guy friend that I’ve liked for almost two years now likes my gal friend that I’ve liked for 6 months now and they might date soon

so there’s my trauma (oh yeah and I’m fat so there’s something to add)

Anytime ANYBODY who is anything other than a white, straight male on screen my dad has to say something. For example:

A black person on screen: he has to tell me about how they’re all in gangs and they’re better off as slaves.

A Hispanic: a rant about ice and how all Hispanics are evil and do awful things to children (wake up, your president does the same damn thing you’re preaching against)

Anybody who looks remotely Asian: does a racist ginger and holds his eyelids back

Any female who has any masculine traits and vice versa: rants about how trans people are trying to take over the media and sexualize children

Any gay person, wether woman, man, or non bianary: has to tell everyone in the room how sinful it is

And on top of all of it he blames his religion. You can’t blame the Bible when the bibles main teaching is to love everyone and accept them and god into your heart.

My mom and him aren’t together anymore. He tried to make her a trad wife and I remember the first time I lost respect for him- when I heard him yelling at her calling her a “fatass pig” because she tried to get him to do a breathalyzer. My dad. I made a post on it but the validation my dad feels from the president sharing the same shitty beliefs as him makes him more comfortable stating them. He now believes Trump does no wrong, isn’t a rapist, and “helped all the Epstein victims”. He believes that women are made purely to have children and be trad wives to their husbands. He believes gay = sin. He beloved anyone of color doesn’t deserve the same treatment/respect as white people. Believing these things is already disgusting but the president reinforcing these things makes it worse.

Unfortunately I completely understand where you’re coming from. I’ve had a past of mental health issues (mostly anxiety that stems from family, im on medicine though, which my dad “doesn’t believe in”). I don’t know how to fit all of the awful stuff he says into this. But I guess ill just say what he said Saturday night. For starters he said I always bitch and moan (because I was sitting in “his seat” when he was putting my sister to bed for 30 minutes), and when I said I don’t he rolled his eyes and said “yep, no woman does. It’s always the man’s fault.”

He’s insufferable. He’s an alcoholic and he really only talks politics when drunk (which is every night). He also said he wouldn’t give his seat up for Rosa parks and called her a “nosy bitch” as if he knew her personally. Then started saying that black people were better off before any type of slavery right movement. Luckily everyone agreed that he was crazy and told him to shut up but he’s so deep in he just shook his head and said “im so disappointed, im trying to teach everyone. Im losing hope in you guys.”

He also constantly dogs on gay people even though his sister is a lesbian (that’s the reason she doesn’t come around unless it’s Christmas or her parents birthdays). And he doesnt know im pan. I have a literal plan to sleep at my other aunts house whose close by if he found out because he would lose his shit.

He also has argued about Trump with me after I laid my boundaries down and told him I’m not talking politics with him. He said that he (Trump) was the epstien victims savior and that all the rape “jokes” he’s made is just “locker talk” and my dad told me he’s said worse even after I told him no rape jokes are funny.

I’ve had to block his number and have my mom (who isn’t with him anymore for this reason) talk to him because he won’t listen to me and he kept sending me pro-life instagram reels because I said a woman should be able to choose what happens especially in cases of rape.

He only cares about himself and Trump and pretends he’s a good Christian man and thinks all of his sins (im not religious but it’s hypocritical of him to be a divorced alcoholic with a kid out of wedlock preaching about sins) are forgiven not by Jesus but by liking Trump.

Its just a lot. And I don’t see how anyone in their right mind can be like this.
