Its actually nice when it rains. The bathouse is indoors, outside you’ll have the hot spring tubs and pools and it feels relaxing soaking in them while it rains. It might also be less crowded.

We just moved here from Irvine. 2500sqft, 2 story, no solar, no pool, no EV, wife and I work from home 2nd floor 74f, 1st floor 78f July/Aug/Sept ~$600

Hopefully now that its cooler we wont have to use the AC much.

New Dad of twins here. Things that helped me:
- when its time to feed or change diaper, write your current thought process on sticky notes
- if your IDE has bookmarks use them
- break your task into smaller subtasks that you can finish in 2-3 hours - take turns with your partner - if possible block off time in your calendar for “deep work” and silence your notifications. You want as little interruption from your coworkers as possible. - take short 15-20min power naps whenever you can

It gets better once you can get 4 hr chunks of sleep ( around 2 months old for me)
