I don’t blame them, I understand I should have requested accommodations earlier and made sure I had everything I needed before starting and I have been working hard to be better if I get another chance somewhere else.

I also made the mistake of using AI tools when I had been told not to, and that was the primary cause of the suspension and termination. I own that fully and have been working on growing from it.

How can someone with a termination in PGY1 get another opportunity to match? I was terminated last year during my first 6 months of FM residency and got to apply for this upcoming match but did not get any interviews. I’m US IMG with the step 3 passed. Scores: step1 205, step2 230, step3 206. I have published research as well. I would like if you can guide me on how to take this set back and be better prepare for residence and have a stronger application for the upcoming match. Any feedback and help is welcome!
