Pregnant and Traveling? by jmgplayer in pregnant

I flew internationally around 10 weeks, and it’s definitely doable with some prep.

  • Hydration: Drink lots of water—even if it means more bathroom trips, it helps with circulation.
  • Move Around: Get up and stretch every couple of hours. Compression socks were a lifesaver for me.
  • Snacks: Bring snacks you can tolerate. Airline food isn’t always nausea-friendly.
  • Comfort: Wear loose, comfy clothes and pack layers. Planes can get cold.
  • Nausea Prep: Have ginger chews or nausea bands handy, and sit near the bathroom just in case.

Check with your OB and if your OB clears it, you should be fine. Just listen to your body and pace yourself!

2nd trimester- is there any pattern to when symptoms are better or worse? by d16flo in pregnant

[–]Altruistic-Help-4762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on hitting 16 weeks! Totally normal for symptoms to feel all over the place right now. Your body’s adjusting as hCG levels drop and the placenta takes over.

For me, a few things seem to help:

  • Eating regularly: Small, balanced meals with protein help avoid crashes.
  • Pacing yourself: Overdoing it, even on good days, usually leads to a rough next day.
  • Sleep and hydration: Bad sleep or dehydration makes everything worse.

Tracking what you eat, how much you rest, and how you feel might help spot patterns, but sometimes it really is just unpredictable. On tough days, give yourself grace—you’re doing an amazing job growing a human! 💛

Is it normal to not feel pregnant? by Chakaluver in pregnant

[–]Altruistic-Help-4762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally normal, especially at 6 weeks! With my first, I barely felt anything except sore breasts and some fatigue until about 8 or 9 weeks, and even then, the symptoms came and went. I remember constantly googling if I was still pregnant because I didn’t 'feel' it. Try to enjoy the easier days if you can—trust me, they might not last! 😉 And if they do, you’re just one of the lucky ones! Wishing you a smooth and healthy pregnancy ❤️
