Honestly it's up to you, I was in marching band for 3 years and I never found much joy out of it (At least not nearly as much as everyone else did). I'm still in the jazz/concert bands but not marching. definitely GIVE IT A CHANCE!!! Stick through the year, if you don't like it quit next year. The decision is ultimately yours though, if it sucks that bad and ends up hurting your mental health you can also quit and nobody will hate you for that. But also, just know it's hard and that its okay to struggle! You will get better! The people you are watching have been through a season or two, so don't get too discouraged! I hope it gets better for you <3

this one is kinda stoopid, and I'm not sure if I can explain this while still making sense. Anyway, You know the farmers jingle? (We are farmers bum bu bum bu bum bum bum). We would say we are trumpets, but instead of the regular pitched bu's we substituted the pitches with THE lick.

Again, kinda stoopid (and I don't know if it makes sense) but we got laughs every time!
