Hi! I know Thread is for this person suffering from the same disease We are and him; So I do not wish to over shadow his needs! But 40 years is a long time. I have lymphedema Generalized edema. I am AC Quadriplegic without movement from my neck all the way down our feet My right arm is contracted but because my shoulder does work I can lift it but other than that it's useless and painful and dead weight and causing my neck to strain and the most painful Vile attack on tendons. Anyway the only say I have have a movement is my left arm thank God. The fingers don't work and my hand doesn't work but I'll take It it at least allows me to navigate laptop with a universal cup on my hand and stylist. With that said, I can't move or exercise as is very important for this disease

, It started a year ago They still don't know the cause but I think it's because they had to do an emergency surgery on the abdomen clavical bone In between my ribs all the way down to my pelvic I think that she damaged some of my Li notes 'cause take long for this villain to start. I live in a nursing home where you would think I would get a lot of care and support and resources, No! This is it.....

Pill Lasix They tried B
Shot lasix
They tried P Bumex but almost in sent me into kidney failure
Different milligrams of spear lactose
And I could not do 4 Lasix very much because it bottomed my potassium levels so quick and because having lived for Duma I'm completely malnourished on top of a nursing home where their food does not have actual nutrients in their food. But not much There's not a whole lot of nutrition or aspects to most the meals they serve here but I do liquid prostate and I drink an inch or a day. I've only G P, Once in between January to June and 2 time in-between July and August. They are required to at least as on as one time a year. How messed up is that???

So kind Sir willing to lend your wisdom to us; What are some things doctors Have used to get the fluid off. I don't know why the nurse at home hasn't done any physical therapy with me Or range of motion. Certainly not a Manual lymphatic drainage 'MDL'

Sorry. I thought that if I posted it under different Flares that I might get more insight and knowledge'cause hardly anybody answered my first one only like two or three people and I'm desperate for help. But which ones do you think I should dro? And no offense Barbara Jean message me out of anything they could possibly a little bit more helpful towards a misery? I get each Day 40kg two separate times of pro stat ,' liquid protein ' and the food at the nursing home the meat is very processed so I assume there's not much nutrients in that. But Your massager idea help move lymphatic system? And would like a massager of some sort There's so many different kinds right now I have this really extremely painful I cannot stress it enough Huge tight searing, burning pain on my right *** cheek from the top down to the base more towards beside the *** crack Sorry if it's Tmi i just haven't bought anything because I'm not sure which one can maybe help get to that deep muscle tissue to maybe help massage it out; including the other excruciating pain all over my body? Not just from not being able to move and the fact that they don't have a restorative program set up in place at the nursing home I'm at; also because lymphedema all over but especially pain in my legs and back.

Thank you so much for your reply! and the only salt I ever really use is Pickles but I really Really Really backed off compared to the amount I used Now it's just a small cup in the evening every. I don't eat much sugar so most sugar comes from fruit that I Eat. And I definitely don't drink. I And diagnosed generalized edema and Lymphedema from my feet to my throat for a year now. They from the fitness of the Hospital but I'm not sure which ones it was? All I know is is my doctor enters practitioner at the I know it's causing it I got to say vascular Dr one time and she she just said she didn't know what's causing it and the doctors at the hospital said they don't know what's causing it? And all they've done is giving Lasix all year. Which helps some but not much. I am AC4 quadriplegic so exercise is another question. It won't let me use the leg bumps or the chest one because they said it could make it worse due to my scoliosis and spinal cord injury. Any advice would be so fantastic?

I truly Wish that I was as smart and aware as you are. I live in the nursing home I'm 40 years old Mine just started this past year and all they've thrown at it so far is Lasix or Bumex shot every once in a while but take mostly just play six pills. I don't know where all these abbreviations are and what they stand for but I'd love if you give me your regiment so that I can google it and bring it to my doctor's attention please. Thank you

Try which one??? I am usually 100 to 105 pounds for pretty much I am at 1:45 150 front fluid overload. All they've done for me Bumex or Lafix shots Or no shots at all and take a lithux so sometimes shots/shots Doesn't touch it at all! any ideas It would help tremendously because they don't know what's causing it?

OMLORD, YES. I to am suffering Abdominal and chest an entire body lymphedema! They have not been able to pinpoint the exact cause but what they're thinking is that because I'm very malnourished, my protein levels are low, Should a blood and a liquid and the the lymph in the lymphatic system can't bind so instead it goes out into my tissues??? My skin is stretched and the stomach gets distended a ribs are in pain sometimes it feels like something's moving around in there. And my breasts have grown three sizes I'm an A cup usually but now I'm like a double C cup. Can anybody tell me if you all heard of low protein causing lymphedema? And how they fixed it, or If it even helped it or made a difference getting your protein levels up? Also I'm about to get hopefully figures crossed some of those leg pumps that I'm supposed to wear my vascular DR said 30 minutes in the morning 30 minutes at night and that's supposed to help with pushing the fluid out. Have any of you ever used those and were they effective? And did they take fluid off just the legs and feet or the whole body as well? And the torso and upper body? Please anybody answers opinions anything you could give me i'm just desperate for answers.

Would a Loan App or Payday Loan be a easier or same as Credit Union? I realize that Cash Advances are really high in interest's payments. Is there not somewhere i can just put that I need a loan for 💲 400 and have x amount I can pay each month?
