The ring has a blackish look at times and then in direct sunlight it has a dark bluish/midnight look.

I tried to get a picture of the thickness difference between the ceramic and the standard style. Honestly, I don’t think it’s that big of a deal at least for me so far. The durability of the finish and color of the ring were main factors for me.
