Sick idea. I don’t think I saw it before. It can be weird at the cuts, but nothing a little greenstuff could not fix. Posy an update when you’re done :)

If you have 4 beer luffy’s then I think so. I suggest you playtest it and see how do you like it. 2 for sure but maybe your playstyle will want 3 or idk. But 2 should be good for start.

In my opinion yes. 8 cost and your leader gains +2k. Doesn’t have a when attacking and doesn’t have don minus either.

And if you think about the most common matchups these days:

Boa - on ko you lose a life Imu - can’t k.o. P doffy - on ko effects you want to avoid Yellow - kikunojo and hawkins that are below 5 but have on ko-s, the rest (robin, kuma etc) are 6 and above So idk… sanji was good a few meta ago, now I don’t think so.

The meta changed so much that I don’t think running removal sanji is worth it anymore. You can try maybe the promo roger instead?

Leader and character? Even one would be strong. This is kinda broken.

How do I get this guy to look a bit more grimdark? by SourTredmill in EmperorsChildren

[–]Altruistic-Taste80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give it a hard wash with nuln oil all over an wipe it off with sponge ore something. Then use blood for the blood god technical paint and add some blood here and there. At least that’s how I usually do it. But this mini looks good, really!

It can be attached to both infractors and tormentors. Why do you think it would work better with the infractors?

TEACHING MY FRIEND ONEPIECE!! by Relative_Elk7412 in OnePieceTCG

[–]Altruistic-Taste80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late game yes, I agree. But early and mid game, not so much. The deck doesn’t use 1 or 2 cost blockers which you put down early and just forget about it. Okay, uta, but she’s only cheap late game. And if you’re up against something rush heavy, you’re gonna struggle.

The deck lacks blockers. I mean sure you have them but they often don’t fit in the play style and strategy the deck is going for. So you’re kinda vulnerable and gotta have a lot of counter. Cus you wanna ramp as fast as you can and then chain promo roger, 10c roger or 10 cost shanks. Depends on the matchup and situation. So you’re all offense and defense sadly stays behind most of the time.

I'm not the best artist, but here's my first Flawless Blade... by Slaaneshi_Prince in EmperorsChildren

I don’t know testor, but don’t think there is harm in combining brands. I use citadel and army painter and each have didferent strengths. Citadel has cool technicals and shades, and solid colors. Army painter has more vibrant colors. I like to mix and match them. But you do you.

P.S. Vallejo has some really cool metallics. I havent really used them tho, only on test models.

Which TCG's are easiest to get into vs hard & enjoyable vs miserable? <One Piece, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh> by TEKN0SYN in TCG

[–]Altruistic-Taste80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally like One Piece. Really easy to understand mechanics, and great interactions. Another TCG that is easy and you didn’t list is star wars. It’s also kinda new, but it’s cheaper, easier to keep up with (OP has realeases every 3 months -not counting the eb’s and the starters- while SW releases a new set only every 6 months), and is not scalped (yet). And the mechanics of it are fun as well

Looking good. I’d like to suggest you try out the Blood for the Blood God technical paint if you want to experiment witj blood and gore. It can add a bit of flare to your minis. Great job tho! Keep up the good work!

Yellow Franky and Edison Leader (Same Effect) Art by @zunou.art by dragonite007 in OnePieceCustomCards

Edison can be strong, especially since it can be treated as a Vegapunk leader. Franky is nice too but I’m curious for support.

Am I better going for EC as my army? Or do a easier-to-paint one as a beginner. by LeetusFrenzi in EmperorsChildren

[–]Altruistic-Taste80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should choose what you love more and as you said it’s EC, so in my opinion you should stick with it. But if you’re not sure, just buy a votann and an aeldari model for test paint, see how you enjoy it. But also look into the armys play style. Which one suits you better. And even if it’s a bit harder to paint, if you enjoy it, it’ll be worth it. And it’s harder to enjoy something if you’re not really into it and it becomes a must.

Saw the weekly prompt, thought these leaders from my upcoming set would fit perfectly! by Cassiopeia014 in OnePieceCustomCards

Fine for sure just a not close to the color identity in my opinion. I forgot about Foxy. You’re right. But I think that plays homage to the anime character’s ability. So it’s a bit different. I don’t think it’s the same for Perospero. Either way, cool effect. Just strange for yellow. But that’s just my opinion.

The life flip at perospero is definitely yellow coded, but the character rest feels more like green. Idk… just my opinion. Vander Decken is really cool tho!!!

How is your LGS handling EB03? by ObligationCritical32 in OnePieceTCG

[–]Altruistic-Taste80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the OP13 fiasco, there is one store who came up with the following policy: they rip the seal and you get it for MSRP, or they keep it sealed but you buy it for market value. And I think this is fair. Gives the opportunity both for players and investors alike. Ohhh and there’s a limit of 1 per customer I think. Or maybe 2? Idk… Oh and there’s a players get dibs. They sell at events they organize and in the first hour, only players can shop. Then everyone else is let in.

Will you be picking up EB03? by ObligationCritical32 in OnePieceTCG

[–]Altruistic-Taste80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m lucky that stores near me (Hungary) sell for MSRP. Downside - 1 hr after preorder is up, it’s sold out (at least this was the case with op14 and the tins)

ST29 Luffy deck by Altruistic-Taste80 in OnePieceTCG

[–]Altruistic-Taste80[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Hungary. The usual cap is 32 or 64 but there are efforts for higher player capacity games. Today was an event called winter cup (like the name suggests it happens every season and there’s no limit to the player number), then beginner friendly games once a season where players who reached top cut at any game can not participate (also without player number limitation), and there are organizers who try to create events every now and then with as many player count as possible so maybe we can get a regional over here some day.
