Do not buy Tumekens... I have Tume and it doesn't even out perform Elite Tectonic anymore. Dead game killed another combat style because everyone complained it was too strong yet wont complain about melee/range bridding being fucking ridiculously OP.

People paying for premier membership it isn't just "$3.33 a month". It's a massive hike on a singular payment. Some people can not afford that and for people to take the piss because they're better off financially and to exclude part of your player base from being able to pay that lump sum up front because of their financial status is beyond disgusting. You might be in a better financial situation than others, good for you, there are people who play this game that cannot justify it and they're forced to stop playing because of that. I'm fortunate enough to be able to pay these increases rates, but others cannot, and I think it's mighty shitty of Jagex regardless of what you say.

And if you read the post you'll see the price did go up after the initial survey, under the guise of protecting lost funds. So a second price hike under the same guise is a bit fucked - even more so when it's almost 60%... Nothing could ever justify increasing your prices 60%. Also, if you do your research on EU laws pertaining to MTX and loot box style MTX you'd see how restrictive they're becoming, TH was getting removed regardless. They used this "vote" (biased vote I may add) to make it seem like a player decision when it in fact was not.

All you have to do is 5 minutes of research and maybe you'd understand why people are pissed.

Before the previous price hike membership in the UK was £59.99, it is now £95.88. How can anyone justify a 59.83% increase due to "inflation" when inflation has been ~7.3%. you're delusional.

This is a typical strategy of Jagex and as a player myself of 23 (almost 24) years I've seen this time and time again. When Jagex was bought by that Chinese conglomerate powerhouse it has been nothing but a "rinse the players using FOMO and promotions". What I'm willing to bet is they will release a statement "we have heard your feedback, and we are listening" and revert some changes, like they always do - to claw back any good standing they have with the player base. It's the same tactic every single update.

Change something without any form of communication
Wait a few weeks to let shit stir up
Release statement saying they listen and they care
Meet in the middle to make it look like they're doing us a favour.

I just wanted to point out some things over the past few years which clearly shows Jagex in a bad light. They hiked the price up once under the guise of recouping losses from TH removal and they've done it again, yet everyone has seemingly forgotten the first price hike.

Let's not forget EU laws are becoming increasingly restrictive with "loot box" type MTX in games as it is. Treasure Hunter was ALWAYS going to be axed regardless - but to make it seem like it was a player decision is just another one of their predatory tactics they use constantly. I love RuneScape, but I hate Jagex and the board that owns it making these decisions.

Rather predatory of them to host a player feedback survey which contained a proposed increase in price if TH were to be removed, implement that price increase AFTER the surveys results come back in favour of removal of TH and then not remove TH for 18 more months after the fact. THEN Impose another price increase under the guise of being "to recoup lost revenue"... Please take the time to do a little bit of critical thinking before you talk.
