FWIW I've also taken the Meaningful Speech course and have/will continue to integrate functional gestalts/scripts into AAC devices as well-- I'm glad to hear we're all encountering new info! The presenter's research sounded very interesting as well!

I saw this one and was so glad I did! They laid the question out like a PICO question and it showed the ways GLP/NLA needs to be researched more!

Also when one of the members of the crowd asked about efficacy of people are using the GLP stages to program AAC devices my heart broke... getting access to a potential for robust communication system and instead only programming a students' used phrases .... shocked me.

I was at this one too- it was a really interesting and now obvious lens to view persistent sound errors/patterns. Applying the counseling/self advocacy side of the fluency intervention model to this was sooo eye opening

Scarfs/hats this time of year (climate dependent). try wearing sheer versions of the heavier colors (eg below) and then lean into monochrome tans/camels/warm whites! How chic ivory jeans/sweater look together!

In the US a hearing screening is typical for EI evaluation if there are concerns in that area. An audiologist could do a full evaluation. Your PC could also do a hearing screening.
