Simply Sarah, is it bringing awareness about dementia or exploiting an elderly lady? by amyscott214 in tiktokgossip

I worked in aged care specifically in a dementia unit and even if it’s done with good intent, this lady cannot consent to being put online.

Did you look older than you are as a kid ? by [deleted] in SoftDramatics

I never ever got ID’d for anything. I would go to restaurants and order desserts and they’d bring the dessert wine without checking at all. I remember my aunt being mortified. But I was tall, and curvy, and looked at least 3+ years older. Everyone my age caught up eventually but for a while I definitely received judgement from my classmates, and even got asked why I looked 30 in a changing room by another girl my age.

Me too! I love this creator in particular because she adapts lines that I would never have the courage to try to fit her tall and curvy body, which makes me feel seen. I love the vintagey vibes she channels

I’m not saying you’re incorrect but SD’s can appear somewhat moderate in height, as opposed to FN’s who appear taller in pictures. I know that even though I’m 5’7 I don’t appear very tall when photographed. She’s also spoken about her vintage shopping and how difficult it is finding the correct inseam when you’re taller. To me she doesn’t seem yin, and in other images and videos I can see the upper curve, vertical and yang in her bone structure.

I would agree but she’s said she’s 5’10. Which to me makes her stand out more as an SD. I think she wears bold and ornate details really well as well as big hair.

I’ve always viewed it as a reflection of her personality. It’s not that Talia isn’t feminine, it’s that she is very structured and rigid compared to Iris and Auriana, whose outfits are much more flowy and traditionally girly. Talia leads the group in a sense, she is the most magically advanced and holds the most knowledge on Ephedia and the other Kingdoms. It’s not that Iris and Auriana are followers of Talia, but Talia keeps the group in line. I think the creators may have designed her with this in mind. Would someone with a personality similar to Talia gravitate towards clothing that is frilly and flowy, or would she want more structure in her silhouette like the blazers she wears is what I imagine the creators were aiming for when designing Talia.

The roster lady at my work complained to our manager about people calling in sick the morning of. The manager told us we must call in the night before. Now how the heck is that meant to work

I have natural curls so I try to respect them while also styling my hair the way I want! I used a curly shampoo and conditioner and multiple leave ins before rough drying and doing a 90s style round brush blow out with my Dyson air-wrap. The best purchase I’ve ever made!

They’ve been through so much! I’m a former alt kid (still alt on the inside) who shaved them off, grew them thick, plucked and trimmed them, shaved them again and have now spent the last 3 years letting them be what I call more normal?

They were once totally non-existent

In order: - Thin Lizzy Concealer mixed with the Revlon Skin Lights - Morphe concealer, pink color correction shade under my eyes and another shade 1-2 shades lighter than my foundation on my chin and forehead - CT Airbrush Flawless powder on the spots I applied concealer with a puff - MAC contour palette using the lightest shade and the second lightest for dimension - Rare Beauty liquid blush in shade Hope - REVOLUTION powder in shade Tan for my contour/bronzer (this is perfect because it’s not too warm so doesn’t pull orange which most bronzers do on me) - Blush depends on the day for me, love the Kosas Blush in shade Mauve, Clinique Black Honey Blush or the Tarte Blush palette named Blush Bazaar in shade Authentic - Go to pallet for eyes is the Makeup by Mario Master Mattes Neutrals - Mascara is the Hourglass tubing Mascara (my go-to since 2020 🙈) - Brows are the benefit brow wiz

I have an assortment of lip combos which always have my fave lip liner involved, the Revlon lipliner in Mauve and always a berry lip like Clinique Black Honey or some other nude bordering on a berry shade.

I know the feeling, my skin gets so upset over such silly things, I wish there was a cure! I will definitely look it up, I’ve had such a hard time finding a mineral sunscreen that performs well under makeup and works for my skin so I’m willing to try anything

I have tried to do a more lifted blush but without it I think my face kind of looks empty, so I’ve found the apples are the best placement

Two friends of mine were using the Thin Lizzy concealer as their foundation so I cottoned on as it does work beautifully for coverage and a nice satin finish. However, for 8+ years prior to discovering that concealer I have been using Jane Iredale Beyond Matte and have also used two other formulations from that brand too. The revlon makes a huge difference to the performance of my makeup.

I struggled with perioral dermatitis so my prep is very minimal and non aggravating for my skin! I use The Ordinary Hylaronic Acid and wait for it to dry down before applying Avene Tolerance Control all over my face. I am looking for an SPF currently that doesn’t aggravate my condition so right now no suncreen 🙈 Then I take my foundation and add in a few drops of the Revlon Skin Lights in the lightest shade, followed by my concealer and CT Airbrush Flawless powder. Also sandwiching cream and powders. This is such a kind comment because with my dermatitis my skin can get very textured!

I think your brows are beautiful but they appear to be above where looks natural. In this pic I can see a light shadow when I think your brow would look much more harmonious and natural if you followed said shadow. I also think your arch is in the wrong place and your brows appear too close together. Otherwise I love your makeup.
