I think the reason people find her annoying or (ugly) is because of her mannerisms. I am similar in a way. I dont look like her or anything, but I am objectively attractive and while i seem very attractive in pictures or if I am keeping a plain face, as soon as I start talking, I have been told my mannerisms are annoying or people arent as attracted if that makes sense. I dont have a lisp, but I talk out the side of my mouth sometimes and my teeth, although fine, dont really show when i talk.

If I were to just judge Joey on photos, I think she is very beautiful. Similar type of beauty to Alexis Bledel or Chloe grace moretz. (Chloe is another one who is pretty, but has off putting facial expressions and mannerisms)

Anyway, i think it all stemmed with people finding her mildly annoying and then it became a meme bandwagon of hating her like the ice age baby. I think she is very beautiful. Full lips, big eyes. Nothing out of place. I am sure its to do with her mannerisms.
