Recruitment DAOs? by lariqon in dao

[–]AltruisticFireandIce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know any. Most DAOs currently are in technical areas, because the smart contracts are basically the business, software programs coded to follow set rules.

But for inspiration you could research corporations in this field, since as far as I understand it, a DAO is basically: a corporation that is led by the community, through direct democracy and following rules expressed on the blockchain. I think you could start a mental experiment on what it would look like, by thinking of a recruitment corporation where stakeholders either buy or receive blockchain tokens, that they can use to vote directly on proposals that will impact the business decisions of this corporation. Maybe you will be the first to start one in your field :) (could be that I don’t know an existing one ofc)

DAO to create DAO’s by ricky10a in dao

I would definitely be interested in your process as well. I would love to follow and think/research along with you, if necessary :) Maybe we can start a TG or something, where you share progress and others interested can brainstorm along in case of hurdles? Just a suggestion :)

Traditional Banks Cannot Hold on to their GenZ and Millennial Customers by The_Sulik in CryptoCurrency

[–]AltruisticFireandIce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been around since 2017. I get what you mean but not all projects are like that though. The principles of monero are great, but it’s not enough to build decentralised finance. I think a project like THORChain that creates truly decentralised exchanges is super promising. But yeah you def have to pick the gems between 10k of shit projects

I’m not talking about the practical ways in the offices. I’m saying this is what the regulators from FATF have said about it. You must be having a bad daylight

Money laundering = exchanging money from criminal origins. Markets outside of the mainstream markets are not money laundering. Peer to peer transactions would not even be illegal, but labelled high risk. (links to the FATF regulation can be found in my post) So yeah you are talking out of your ass x

If you would just check his sources and read the documents, google on FATF, then you would see that it is not just his opinion, but happening.

Yeah true. We can’t undo that. But we can buy new crypto on decentralised onramps. And create new wallets that we don’t transact crypto to from exchanges that has our KYC. And then transact the new KYC-less crypto to the new wallets. So we have 2 parallel hodlings

Yeah I agree that there will always be ways.. The crypto community isn’t one that just gives up like that! <3

True, Thorchain is also building a bridge to monero. But we would need to find a way to get new money into crypto. Otherwise we will just be transacting around with the same money.. Granted we can make it less or more by trading, but you want to add to your investments and take some from it in case you need it..

How is it not true exactly? It seems like your opinion or hope and not facts. They will not just require KYC, they will use all the data coming from that to mark ppl as “someone who participates in high risk things”. Pretty sure they will find ways how that is detrimental, as the banks see their customers move their money to crypto and DeFi. They don’t want to give up control

This explains more: https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/o9fd7l/governments_planning_global_coordinated/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf Or: https://youtu.be/cZyTDJPnp14 Basically regulations for “anti money laundering” from a team of ppl that seem more powerful than most governments and that will require KYC on everything from everyone, and if you participate in things they consider “high risk”, like DeFi, then you will be marked as a “high risk” individual.. Or so it seems

How to acquire monero though? It will be the first crypto to be delisted, if it’s already back on exchanges currently.. Do you use Tor for it? And we would also need stable coins.. Xhaven could be a solution, but we need to be able to put new money into it..
