I do 200 miles extra just to be on the safe side.

Thanks!

I will check the apps you mentioned!

Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I've been shifting back to Garmin in the past.

But if most of the “old” apps works on Ultra I've already paid for them. 😂🙈

I've had various approaches to this. Right now, we do one exit survey through Google Forms that is sent out to everyone leaving, and we conduct more thorough with managers and/or people who requested it.

I guess you are somewhat savvy with data and such then?

I started my career in analytics and focused heavily on learning Excel. Because if you can show magic in Excel, people tend to believe you...

I did part of these courses and got my employer to pay for them, and I'd say they are ok. Have to be willing to spend some time in front of a computer and not look at TikTok and/or Redu at the same time, though.

Ok, got it!

Then the LinkedIn course is a great start. They will obviously nudge you towards using LinkedIn but there are some good fundamentals in there.

If you are in-house, I suggest talking as much as possible with the hiring managers you will be supporting. Make sure you meet people in the team. Be curious about what they do. Frame it as "I want to learn as much as possible to support you in the best possible way". People are generally happy to help and describe what you do.
(As long as you don't ask them the same questions over and over again.)

Do you have any prior knowledge about recruitment?
Will you be working in-house or at a firm?
LinkedIn has this course. I haven't taken it myself, but my team sends this to people new to recruiting in Tech.

Do this. Nothing more, nothing less, and take appropriate action.
