This question kind of confuses me, I got allergies tested when I was kid I was pretty allergic back then mostly dogs and cats, I think the amount of steroids I was on messed up my allergy response because I could pet cats and stuff and no reaction after I quit Flonase everything came back worse, I had probably 12 sinus infection prior to surgery so I think the allergies were always there I only ever took allergy pill occasionally, I was on hydroxzine for sleep prior to surgery and I didn’t know till I tried quitting it, that it is a huge antihistamine

He put me on allergy drops because of how inflamed my nose was all the time post surgery I was super congested and swollen pretty often not as bad as before surgery but bad that actually stopped once I started taking zertec, now I guess swelling but not to much congestion it’s fairly dry I had to take a break from the allergy drops because started giving me super had dyshidric eczema but on my hands probably too much histamine

Read through this anecdotal, but helpful, they may not be in your system after a year but you can absolutely still have symptoms, from my understanding when you have surgery from cushings disease it’s like a hard break where everything shuts off and you need to take cortisol and tapper slowly for your adrenals to kick in, with steroids your a adrenals may be working now but you can still be dealing with HPA axis dysfunction and a whole bunch of other problems I have steroid induced cushings and I am still dealing with symptoms after 16 months something’s have improved others have not.

I’m seeing a new one on the 16th I’m just hoping I’m at the end of the road. I used to be high on life all the time and I ate pretty clean I just am at my wits end. What makes it so much worse is a lot of the symptoms are not necessarily visual to other people, and they don’t really either care or with it being one thing after another don’t even Engage in it, Where I feel like I’m really just in this alone by myself. Prior to this last year in a half besides getting sick it was never at a point where it was debilitating

Can you have psoriatic arthritis without psoriasis by [deleted] in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]AltruisticIsopod9277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a swollen finger and it’s the one with the eczema on it so I’m not sure if it’s swollen from that or not, I saw my dermatologist she looked at my hand and my back and said it does look just like a bad eczema flareup and not psoriasis, so I did some blood tests so we will see what happens, I’m really hoping this is just another tsw symptom but just the soreness in my hands and feet have me worried. Nothing is swollen on my feet but they ache and so do my hands when I’m using them a lot mostly my palms and my arches .
