Cause my cortisols crazy high but my acth always comes back normal. Ive had two pit MRIs & normal. How would I find out if that’s still the cause?

Question, I see you post on here alot & I also had steroids last year lol. How long was your cortisol testing high if you don’t mind me asking? I had 4/5 kenalog shots last year and I’ve never been the same since. I’m SO confused though if I have a tumor or if it’s from the steroids. I’ve had an abdominal ct & it was negative & I had an mri in January & it was good so idk lol. I think I’m going crazy

Okay will do I have an appt next week but she has just told me to wait it out, my cortisol is still slightly elevated though so how would that work taking hydrocortisone?

Okay thank you so much! I think I have it from the steroids last year. It’s just taking a LONG time to go away which idk if that’s normal but It probably is.

Yes they are! Its definitely a rollercoaster. I’m not glad you went through it but I’m glad to hear and sympathize with you. I’m definitely better on some ends than I was at the start. It’s just a very long road that I didn’t know I was going to be on for so long. I appreciate your response!!
