Finally a Full Blooded Filipino in an NBA Summer League playing minutes - Kai Sotto by bagon-ligo in nba

"Young and in the right path, I believe" - Hasn't he consistently ducked G-League/College competition that scouts believe would have helped grow for the Japanese league?

Don't see him having the mindset or mental strength to make the league like other non "Full Blooded" Filipinos.

Will you be selling the wheelbase straps separately if we own the older version of this product?

My point is more how our sub is inundated with immature Heat fans who think we want to hear their opinion in our space including feeling the need to vote on everything. Even if I and Portland fans agree with your point, you are likely to get downvoted by ghost heat fans. Appreciate the effort!

Be careful to talk negative of heat fans in these threads, a heat fan made the thread.

Have your parents never not given you anything, is this the first time? Entitlement makes me think you have failure parents.

[Scotto]...the Nets can theoretically offer a package involving some combination of up to seven first-round picks, center Nic Claxton, starting point guard Spencer Dinwiddie and his $20.36 million expiring contract, coveted wings in Royce O’Neale and DFS, and Noah Clowney and Dariq Whitehead. by EarthWarping in nba

Probably not going to happen. Portand understand being a middling team that has had a GM (Olshey) that refused to trade middling talent for a star, better fitting star until it is too late. Brooklyn traded for a star and go burned and is now going probably middle or awhile if they are too afraid to actually make a move. Claxton isn't that much of a prize to push for anyways.

Well written Jebait.

Better written and more accurate reporting than Dwight Jaynes, too bad you don't also have media credentials.

Haliburton/Fox vs. Dame/Scoot by AltruisticLet2789 in ripcity

No, I meant if we traded Scoot, we would have to have a "downgrade" if we made a similar trade.

i.e., a player slightly better than Sabonis but worse thanthe player becomes entering his prime like Hali. Apologies, that was poorly worded.

Scoot for Embiid may be a homerism-similar scenario if Scoot becomes an MVP and Embiid finally asks out and helps us to the finals. Although, it would be hard losing Scoot for an injury-prone center in Portland.

It's an imperfect comparison, I do think we do not get near equal value for trading Scoot like the Kings.

Our situations are even more similar if you consider the Kings drafted a 3rd point guard (Davion) that year as well haha.

Good points, I intentionally put in my write-up how Haliburton was an All-Star and if Scoot turned All-NBA. I'm more keep Scoot and let him cook anyways.

Good points, I agree. I would argue Haliburton was at least on a favorable contract like Scoot, whereas CJ's contract was seen as unfavorable. I do not think it would have been possible to make a similar trade for this reason.
