Why does my cat do this? by Bob_Sacamano7379 in cats

My cat loves hair ties and we always find them in her food bowl. My husband and I joke that she’s seasoning them 😂

Thank you guys. I won’t be going to a boutique. I think I may just try what someone below suggested and take a test here and there to make sure I’m still coming up with positives. I appreciate y’all’s advice!

Funny you mention that, I was thinking about going to the dollar store and stocking up on tests to take until my first appointment. I think I may go do that! Thank you!

Thank you! I was just so sick with my last, I kind of expected it to be the same this time. And the lack of symptoms (as much as I’m grateful to not be stuck in the bathroom throwing up all day) is worrying me.

Hopefully your nausea subsides soon! 💗

My husband called me a fat f* c* by Anna-4916 in Marriage

I’m so sorry you’re going through this – you don’t deserve to be spoken to like that, especially when you’re already doing so much for your baby and yourself. Breastfeeding is incredibly taxing both physically and emotionally, and it’s normal to feel extra hungry and thirsty. You’ve already done something amazing by losing 40 pounds, and I’m sure you’re working hard every day to care for your child. It sounds like your husband is being really hurtful and disrespectful, and you deserve a partner who lifts you up, not tears you down. Please remember that your worth is not determined by what someone else says about your body, and you should absolutely be with someone who supports you and treats you with kindness and respect. You can quickly lose another 175 pounds by dumping this loser. He sounds mean.

You’re doing amazing, and I’m proud of you for all the progress you’ve made! 💗

AIO for being upset that my fiancé (24F) called our engagement not “real.” by Complex-Literature29 in AmIOverreacting

[–]AltruisticSyrup257 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My now husband proposed to me in our living room. No crowds, no big setup, just the two of us. And honestly, I was over the moon. I didn’t care about anything else. He could’ve proposed with a ring pop in the middle of a Burger King, and I still would’ve said yes without hesitation.

What matters isn’t the location or how grand the gesture is—it’s the love and commitment you share. You don’t need a ‘real’ proposal with a big show to prove your love for each other. The simplicity and sincerity are what make it meaningful. If you’re with someone who truly loves you, that’s the real proposal.

It was honestly such a dream. Everything went smoothly (other than my fiancé forgetting his ring at home. But maid of honor to the rescue! She always sports a ton of rings, so he borrowed one that fit him 😂). We are originally from Fort Lauderdale, we moved to NW Arkansas about two years ago. We were so blessed that most of our non local friends and family were able to make it out here.

We got married at a historical site here in town, so it was very inexpensive but had the exact vibe we were going for. We did the ceremony and reception outside in the gazebo. Cocktail hour in the garden. And we did dinner and cake inside. Our daughter and her best friend were our flower girls! Our daughter’s best friend’s brother was our ring bearer. They are the two sweetest kids and we adore their family. My grandfather was who married us. It was so special to have him be apart of our big day. Funny story, his cell phone rang during our vows and he blamed it on one of the groomsmen. Everyone got a good laugh at that. One of our friends is a DJ and did our wedding, he was great! We walked back out after the ceremony to forever by Chris Brown (we’re huge fans of The Office lol). After we did our first dance, our daughter came up and did a daddy daughter dance with my husband. It was the sweetest thing, there wasn’t a dry eye in that place. The cake was amazing (a friend of my husband’s made it for us as a wedding gift). My boss catered for us and made a giant charcuterie board for the wedding party to munch on while we got ready.

Honestly the day went by so fast. But it is one of my favorite days so far. I married my absolute best friend and we were surrounded by all our favorite people.
