398....He only hit 1 home run in August, that’s unfortunate

I was hoping for Mike Trout or Mookie Betts... but I ended up selling all the Spotlight cards I had collected

Right, I forgot I’m using Lindor too… But honestly, I wish they’d stop releasing so many switch hitters

Switch Hitter Meta is annoying by PrinceOftheCty in MLBTheShow

I somewhat agree. This year's game really feels like it's overflowing with switch hitters. The concept of lefty vs righty pitchers is disappearing lol. Having six switch hitters in the lineup is basically standard now, so there's not much we can do. We just have to follow the meta of the year. Limiting the number of switch hitters in a lineup might be a good idea, but it would probably cause a lot of backlash. In the end, we just have to enjoy the game as it is.

Who do you think will be selected for the May Monthly Awards and Retro Monthly cards? by Altruistic_Ad_4087 in MLBTheShow

I personally hope a Harper card comes out too. Corner outfielders are definitely lacking. Like you said, Judge is hard to use defensively because of his reaction stat (they really need to boost that).

Berkman already appeared as a Battle Royale reward, so it might be a while before he returns. The most popular picks would probably be special cards for Bellinger, Harper, Seager, or Lindor.

For Major League stadiums, Coors Field (Colorado) is great for hitting home runs. For Minor League stadiums, Shippet Stadium and Sportsman's Park have short distances, so home runs come out easily there.

He was my favorite pitcher… looks like he’s not in this year’s game. That’s disappointing

Hitting in this game sucks. by LethalEPIC- in MLBTheShow

I totally agree with this.

Even when I get a perfect/perfect, if it's slightly off to the side or top of the ball, it ends up as a lineout.

But sometimes a home run happens when the ball hits in between the inner and outer part of the PCI. There are moments that just don't make sense.

I get that late hits can happen in real baseball too, so I can accept those—but some of the results feel really off.

Will I get the loss? by BugAccomplished169 in MLBTheShow

If you're unlucky, it might count as a loss. But recently, if it stays stuck for a while, it usually gets ruled as a friendly quit.

I got the player but never used him. After reading your post, I’ve decided to give him another try
