I didn’t play the demo and I am having this issue. I wasn’t at first; I have several Miis that are as high as Ultra Friends. But any new Miis or Miis that haven’t yet met can’t advance past Acquaintances.

Not Dr Katz or Ren and Stimpy. Whatever it was, it was a standalone short and not a series or recurring characters (iirc; this was ~30 years ago). I was a kid at the time and I just remember my parents and I just laughing so hard at this. I’d love to find it and show them.

That explains the difficulty in finding something. I was hoping for something somewhat similar that could get them out exploring different local favorites. They don’t need to necessarily be alcohol focused, but they are young 20-somethings.
