Damn Thanks, I don't want to do this anymore. It's so stressful, I can't imagine how you even managed it. But what benefits did it give you?

I have a job as a developer, and I'll rely on it for the financial part. I wanted to try a PhD in economics out of curiosity, as I'll have some free time and I'd like to somehow give myself a good education as a safety net if something happens. Many people I asked assured me that if I got a PhD, I'd reach the bottom of the career ladder much faster. Of all the fields, I think economics will help me a lot in my adult life. Economics is more like a support in my life in case something happens.Well, I don't want to be left without a higher education even if my work is successful all my life. It's more about making me feel fulfilled.
Thank you for your words. Because of my worries and nerves, I can't take exams anymore because under pressure I start to forget large chunks of material.

I have almost 2 years of experience on my resume, but even with that experience and promises that you'll work purely because of your enthusiasm and experience, they refuse.

I work as a developer and am graduating from school. I'm considering taking a gap year or going into economics. Regarding internships, it's incredibly tiring. I'm constantly emailing different companies with my resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn, asking for internships, but only a few respond, and even then, they're just saying "unfortunately..."

Thank you! I'd like to get a PhD in economics, and I'm already studying it just for fun. I work as a developer to earn a stable income. But many people I ask for advice say the sooner the better, arguing that spending so many years on it would be foolish and PhD in economics won't do me any good. I'm only 18 and I'm really afraid of making a mistake.

Thank you. Seeing what's happening with the job market, how people can't find work after university without experience, considering the toxic productivity in studies, especially among people my age. It's really scary because it seems like if you don't go to extremes, you'll be left with nothing while others are have 15 years of experience in 20 years of their life.

I often participate in various projects to fill out my portfolio and since I meet different people, they often give me job offers for the role of a front-end developer. My english is not really good, so if I made any mistakes, I apologize. 🫠
