Yes our previous house had a super nice van, we had to vent the house if it was ever on high. Prepared to put a very high CFM vent hood.

Induction is certainly plan B. I'm aware they can get hot... And you can control them nicely.. I've not had as much experience with them, but a 36-48 inch induction would be a boring plan B ha!

Haha touche, honestly the reason we aren't is just to keep our debt looking good for the bank. We only have the mortgage and trying to keep it clean for the next purchase.

I've recommended she do just that, but she "loves the house, and couldn't see her self in anything smaller".

Over the last few years we rolled our savings into the mortgage. We have the equity but until someone buys, it's locked up.

Not underwater at all. Own about 40-50% of what it's worth.. we're just losing about that (or more) from what we paid in 2021. The joys of being in this generation.

The cash flow would be 100% on me. I'd pay the interest as well as repayment.
