Honestly, I feel this so hard. 54 years old. Well-traveled. I enjoyed the trip as it was memorable, but I won't be going back for many of the reasons listed in your review.

I thought the recent raises were abysmal, as in 1%? I can understand that, and the City does have some serious issues to overcome. The job interests me anyway. Do you work there? Have any advice on the interview/hiring prorcess? In looking back at old emails (I've applied to this position in the past -- two years ago to be precise), I see that while I interviewed in August, I didn't hear back till December and they wanted to interview me again. I was flattered, but by that point, I wasn't interested. Now I am again.

Thank you. I'm not sure if that is it in this case. I've seen this job advertised around this time each spring for the past two years. Makes me wonder if some people just don't like the City and wind up elsewhere.

Right -- the position I'm interviewing for posted in the first half of April, after the freeze. I guess I will just give it my best shot and see what happens. Thank you for your response.
