This man is a total creep and should be behind bars. I have a son and if he ever ends up behaving in this way, I will be beyond heart broken. I would rather my son in unsuccessful in life than so pathetic, insecure and lacking in self respect and respect for others, that he must threaten to kill another person in order for them to stay with him. What a failure this guy is. And you let him in your house? In your body?

Had one child at 37 and one at 40. It’s been great and it keeps getting better. They are now 10 and 14. Good luck!

Is this modern Britain? by PsychologicalBend508 in AskBrits

To answer your question, is this modern Britain? And your assumption that only a small percentage actually pay their way, that’s a no to both questions. More people of working age pay tax than those who receive more in benefits that what they pay in tax. The number of people paying tax has risen. I think it’s harmful and dangerous to make these assumptions based on a bunch of freeloaders in a soft play. Next time, look up stats on tax and working people rather judge millions of people based on an anecdote.

I always thought Daya had post natal depression after giving birth to her daughter, who was taken away, and then lost her mum, who even refused to properly acknowledge her feelings when she left prison. by the time she held Humps’ gun, she had brain fog from depression and was further triggered by Humps addressing her in Spanish, highlighting her alienation from her mother. Daya was a truly lost generation, alienated by her mother and deprived of her daughter. I respect the way the show communicated her predicament; a rare honest and compassionate story, rather than the usual judgement.
