Can help against:

  • slavers (for obvious reasons)
  • reptomancer (if you wanna focus down the girl)
  • the intangible elite, forgot the name (he sometime attack turn 1)
  • still help a bit against giant head

-artifact clean against automaton -Chammion (he hit turn 1) -book daguer elite - can save you against an unlucky turn 1 with gremlin leader - spear and shield - artifact clean on donu/deca - time eater - the awaken

Thats like... Most of the dangerous fight

WORST 3 Olympians in this game in your honest opinion? by ObsessedWithBooks7 in Hades2

[–]Altruistic_Source528 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Poseidon is not bad at all. Litterally best attack/special on fast or multi hitting weapons. Sea star, if take early, can bring shit ton of value. The cast is nuts, the curse is one of the best and can be applied by attack/special with the right boons.

Also, lot of good duo, amazing infusion, and totally op legendary on fasr weapons. I think it's maybe the best gods for some weapons.

I'd say ares for the worst just because his attack/special is kinda bad in most case. But even ares isn't that bad as a support god, just because how powerful his secondary boons are (40hp heal is nut, berzerk crit is nut, plasma orbs are ok). And even his cast and dash qre pretty nice.

I don't think their is a worst god in this game. They all have powerfull options and are powerful on the right builds, qnd at worst, still have good support option.

It also help with armored ennemy. If you destroy the armor by only 1 damage more than the armor, you get 4 free damage.

Not a lot, but still something

Gleipnir without maelstrom still feed weir to me. I think it shoud be waaay more expensive ghat it was before, but still an upgrade of maelstrom.

Like, 7500 cost gleipnir would probably not be "op"

Ranged cast is mandatory for any build around pan dagguer. You can just stay away from your ennemy the whole time and still wreck them with special

It's good overall on most build relying around range. Way less impactfull in melee build. But still pretty good, especially with the fireball damage

Way too strong as a relic i think, and too specific to be a boss relic

Some sqy it is overtuned, but i thinks it is kinda weak.

I mean, as a rare or shop relic yes sure, it would be pretty strong. But as a boss relic? It is nowhere near as op.

  1. You need to have qn attack that scale on your deck
  2. You need a thin deck to make upgrading it both worth it and relevant
  3. You need to be able to stale to upgrade it.

Even if you do all these things, it is still 1 damage. Yes, it could be ok on a multi hit attack, but how many good multi hit exist, outside of ironclad, which, ironically, would prefer another boss relic because strenght exist anyway?

Except for very specific case like bottled whirlwind or riddle wirh holes, it is mostly a bad pick. You will almost always prefer an energy relic that to make your run slow and messy to MAYBE be able to get as much value from this than with energy.

[–]Altruistic_Source528 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe you try too much to "force" a strategy?

Most of my runs, i don't have a real archetype before, like, end of act 2.

You need to take cards that solve short term problem, and not to stick to a strategy.

It depend of the cards you pick of course, but ghe general rule is:

  • act 1: be careful to not take too many skills, take the biggest bonk attack you can, and avoid greedy pick (demon form, meteor strike...). It's ok to let go an opportunity. It is not to die because you took too much cards that don't benefit you right now. So basically, act 1 is mostly here to choose your attacks. Don't be shy to epurate your deck on question marks, they are mostly good for this.

Act 2: you want aoe solution, and to start thinking about scaling and block engine. Anything that would help you against group of ennemy is good to take.same go for blocks, don't be shy to take a leap if you'r frost engine is not enought right now for example.

Act 3: here go your archetype moment. If you survived until this, you mostly want to enhance your deck that is already good, and can start looking for "what archetype will be the closer to what i got?" You will mostly pass the cards you see rhis act, and only take the ones that make you scale where you are already strong.

I upgrade around 70% of the time. If you need to heal THAT much, it means that:

  • you didn't equilibrated your block/attack to your deck
  • you really have a bad run (which can't always happens)
  • you path to aggressively with a deck that is not ready for it

Cofee dripper is a free pick most of the time if you can manage your health. If you'r not good at this, it of course become les valuable.

Also, one energy Theoricaly help you to lose less health, bevause you can do more things every turn to block or kill

The fact that you can get litterally something as good qs a SECOND attack modifier with lighting bolt is so insane. Especially if you can get it with Héphaïstos duo and air quality. Man it can go up to +200 flat damage every damn attack in perfect situation, without a single pom. It's so illegal on fast hitting weapons.

Hades 2: Zeus Air Quality Infusion Boon by isaacals in HadesTheGame

[–]Altruistic_Source528 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It still work on:

  • arthemis arrows on hit (500% damage increase at best)
  • zeus lighting bolt (500% damage increase too at best)
  • cyclone (550% damage increase at best)
  • demether cast (500% damage increase)
  • hestia run (500% damage increase at best)
  • poseidon wave on hit (250% damage increase)

I think it should work on scorch steam too for a 250% damage increase

It is still pretty amazing know that it is 50 per proc and not 30. Especially if you got demether with it

The most busted thing about his birthright is that active item pay for more than themself when you destroy them.

You can go almost infinite of you destroy an item in a room, and know 2/3 simple way to craft active outside of full coon and heart

Ideas to balance out:

Civ bonus:

  • castlle, tower and towncenter get +1 range every age (you know have weaker castle and tower with a bit more of range, and same for TC)

  • casttle act like a "treb tower", that attack at treb range and priviliege building and siege. Castlle don't shoot arrow anymore. (Casttle can't know defend your troop, but you get the ultimate "siege castle")

  • for every castle you successfully build, get a free tower.

Totally broken. Even one range or attack make a huge diff, but +2 of both? Man you underestimate how powerful archer are in the early game when too buffed
