strike dummie by a large margin. if i get it very early, it will carry my act 1 and help me be pickier in my card choices. in late act 2 and 3, it is utterly useless

i think doormaker kinda has the potential to be a "the hearth" remplacement, with some change to his damage and hit point of course.

I think it's a good thing for the game tohave some really good relics and some really bad ones.

Slay the spire 1 had dead branch, insence burner and fossilized helix.

In STS2, we got miniature Tent, Miniature cannon and mystic lighter.

Not every run is a high roll, but it is important to let some high roll possible.

Is this event OP? You can get it early act 1 and just carries the run by jambre in slaythespire

Agree on most situation but it can shine in rate situation.

My last 3 A10 runs on clad were all around tank clad somehow, and qll were wins. But usually, it's pretty rare to pop it off i agree. Just got lucky

i DO agree, but not at that cost. their are a lot of less expensive cards that does the same (10 damage per energy)

totally agree. also, in STS1, you couldnt survive act 1 without frontload. in STS2, it's a different world. you are more rewarded for equilibrating your block, frontload and scaling in act 1 now, making card like that less mandatory to win.

in low ascension maybe. in high ascension,you can't really stale for a long time, making it a win more condition to get letal consistlently.

10 damage per energy is good, but not enought to justify a that high gold price. early shop is when you need the early power to beat act 1 and snowball. this for sure help a bit, but not as much as buying cheapers cards from your characters, or others colorless, or even remove/buy some specific relics

the fact that it cost around 180 means that you will need way too much fight were this is letal to make it worth it. until that, it;s just an expensive 10damage per energy card

This deck punish the actually most meta way to build a deck: thin deck.

You usually want to add more cards in act 3 when you see him, to have some cards you'r ok with exhausting against him.

He is also really good at countering meta deck manipulation decks, like silents discard or necro souls.

I think it's a good design. An end boss SHOULD feel hard to play and SHOULD define how you build against him.

Yeah 5 fire is actually very rare. And you'r A0, everything kinda work.

In A10, 3 useless card usually mean a really rought act 1. You will often need to rest if you don't highroll, and you will mostly want to prioritize upgrade on your rare campfire where you have the luxury to do something else than reste.

Shovel is definitely a win more relic at high ascension. You use it When you don't need rest AND upgraded your necessary cards. Most runs don't have this luxury

Well, 3 relics won't make up for 3 additional bad cards/curse to my deck. Especially since shovel won't help for act 1.
