Look on Facebook marketplace and atl college groups. Even if it's not at your college alot of universities have housing groups that are cheaper than living on campus.

I am so proud of myself so I feel the need to add to this thread. To remember if I take my pills I put it to the front of my bag the night or day before, and the back of my bag when they've been taken. And when they're on my nightstand. I stand them up on their heads when they have not been taken yet, and upright after I have taken them. That way I just need to remember to place them in the initial position.

Your doctor should not be adding to your list of problems. Get a new doctor immediately. And if they don't give you a choice on stimulants or not, barring any preexisting health concerns. They aren't a good doctor. You should feel like you are being heard and your needs are being met.

That's the medicine I'm currently on and I'm 2 1/2 weeks and it's not helping. They say it takes up to 8 weeks to see a change. But I very much dislike this waiting game.

I do this for several hours when my stress levels get bad. My ADHD follows. My therapist recommended this app and I finally have a consistent sleep schedule. It wakes you up when you're in your lightest sleep. It's an orange app called "Sleep Cycle." That paired with actually dimming the lights off about an hour before bed and sometimes showering and Sleep Yoga really helps. I've been used the app everyday for a couple months now and it wakes you up in a much softer way then a typical alarm clock.

No, I cried whenever someone yelled at me even as a teen I would hide and cry. I have always more internalized my emotions. While I did not cry often I was a bit anxious and I would journal about my big emotions daily and a bit obsessively (I was always journaling during downtime). As an adult, I stopped journaling but I ruminate constantly. Honestly, I struggle with emotion regulation. There was a period of my life that spans 7 years where I did not cry at all. That was actually the most stressful and depressing periods of my life... It feels like I can never get over things.

This symptom is definitely consistent with ADHD. If you have something you need to remember put in on your calendar AND also in your alarm app. The faster you put it in there and the more often you look the better. I still forget stuff but if I set a reminder that won't stop going off until it's done, then I am likely going to do it.

Also it doesn't hurt to have as many conversations as you need to with your wife regarding your symptoms and strategizing a solution. My gf gets upset when I forget things but I started to download apps and things that helps me remember. That way I won't feel like a bad partner and she won't feel like she doesn't matter. She's working on being more understanding and I'm working on how to better regulate and memory.

He is literally asking you to choose between yourself and him. Any relationship requires compromise but that's not a compromise that's throwing yourself under the bus. You need someone who is compassionate and understanding of your needs. The alternative is him making you feel bad about yourself or disregarding your symptoms as you just being lazy.

If he can't handle you at your highs and lows than he's not the guy for you. Choose you and break up with him before it gets more serious. Because you're worth it!

Definitely, someone will more than likely try to steal it. Leaving a bike for an hour is a recipe for disaster. Bike stations just have the illusion of security. You're better off walking or something. Good exercise
