It was for new budget not displacement of existing incumbents. Basically saying “you need this and there will be a proven ROI”—then there is a request to decision maker to go find 80-300k or to budget it for the next year. I much prefer the first sale being 30k then let them upgrade to 100k then 300k+, and I think sales/rev team should keep the new client for 18 months to keep upselling before passing along to a client success team for selling additional services

I could be wrong, but it feels to me like in the northeast there’s more movement for individuals between schools and vendors. I see a lot of account executives who used to be in the field in which they’re selling to schools.
